Hope it's much better than Saturday. The crowds for those two games were pathetic! Couldn't have been fifteen hundred in there. Just not the same without Rapids and Cloquet. I have a feeling East is about to go on a run and probably not have a close game until the finals. I think they may have got a bit complacent (maybe even bored) midway thru the season and now they are smelling the blood.
Spoken like a true homer. Maybe if the game wasn't 160miles and played in the morning fans more would have made it.

The lack crowd is not an indictment of the teams in the tournament, but more of the location and host.

Good luck both Andover and DE.
If you're a true fan, you follow your team. Distance and time shouldn't matter. I made the hour and a half drive over and my team wasn't even in it.

East 7 - Andover 3

Andover is no match with their defense, in addition to their number of dumb penelities (#8 good for at least 3 slashing's), and Perry's too slow in movement, especially down low; won't be able to keep up with East's 2 on 1's and puck movement. Rak will be the only one that shows up to play.

Andover didnt have many fans also due to the fact that they had their winter formal dance that evening, so all the girls were busy getting ready.

No excuse for Forest Lake though. Counted 5 students in the student section.

I would think that true fans would show up whether the game is at 10 am or 10 pm, or anything in between. Get your latte or whatever before 7, hop on 35 and your there by 9:30 at the latest. And a better facility within the section?

Im undecided if i should make the trip down to the Amsoil for this one, when I could watch it on tv. If it were a GR or CEC final with East there's no question, might just get a 12 pack and enjoy it in my living room. good luck dawgs :)

What is the latest on ticket availability? I can't imagine they have that arena sold out but wanted to make sure before I made the drive later today.

Just heard Lapanta dis Andover on KFAN and Paul Allen coming to the support of Andover. Title game, if Andover can keep the score low and stay within a goal or two by the end of the third period, watch for the upset.

Andover - nothing to lose and DE has everything to lose - same goes for Lapanta making the easy choice but also saying the score was going to be 5-1 in favor of DE.

Hopefully Andover plays a very strong defensive game and keeps the puck to the outside, frustrate DE and then surprise them in the 3rd period!!!

Then we can hear PA on KFAN give it to Mr. Lapanta!

Andover 3-2 upset victory at Amsoil

East's Forwards will make quick work of the Andover D. Chase Perry will have to play absolutely phenomenal for Andover to win.
