If you're a true fan, you follow your team. Distance and time shouldn't matter. I made the hour and a half drive over and my team wasn't even in it.Bronc wrote:Spoken like a true homer. Maybe if the game wasn't 160miles and played in the morning fans more would have made it.norcon wrote:Hope it's much better than Saturday. The crowds for those two games were pathetic! Couldn't have been fifteen hundred in there. Just not the same without Rapids and Cloquet. I have a feeling East is about to go on a run and probably not have a close game until the finals. I think they may have got a bit complacent (maybe even bored) midway thru the season and now they are smelling the blood.Dizluttheast218 wrote:East by 4. Will be interesting to see if andover brings a large amount of fans. Should still be a great atmosphere, but it will be hard to top last years game
The lack crowd is not an indictment of the teams in the tournament, but more of the location and host.
Good luck both Andover and DE.
Andover didnt have many fans also due to the fact that they had their winter formal dance that evening, so all the girls were busy getting ready.norcon wrote:If you're a true fan, you follow your team. No excuse for Forest Lake though. Counted 5 students in the student section.NWSC Puck wrote:Andover didnt have many fans also due to the fact that they had their winter formal dance that evening, so all the girls were busy getting ready.norcon wrote:If you're a true fan, you follow your team. I would think that true fans would show up whether the game is at 10 am or 10 pm, or anything in between. Get your latte or whatever before 7, hop on 35 and your there by 9:30 at the latest. And a better facility within the section?Bronc wrote:Spoken like a true homer.
