This is easy.....MOREHEAD.

Never been a town more arrogant for never really winning anything...ever. In fact I can't think of anyone who actually likes them.

Yuk.

Even as a Tonka fan I can't hate Edina, although I find it hard to hate anything high school. Yeah I don't mind seeing them lose, but they don't seem to go about things the wrong way and the tradition speaks for itself. I only wish the Skippers would finally break their 'Vikings' curse and win one. :(

yeah yeah yeah... tradition, winning, blah blah blah... THIS 'Tonka fan/alum would only cheer for Edina if they were playing the Dallas Cowboys with Eddie Belfour in net, Matt Cooke, Jordan Tootoo, Jarko Ruutu, the 80s Blackhawks, John Madden as their coach, wearing NoDak jerseys while being the home team at a game played in Madison!

:P

Roseau is one of my favorites....they epitomize Minnesota Small Town hockey that said screw it, we're playin' with the big boys.
I agree Roseau is great because they don't take players from other programs unlike the privates! All those kids are born and raised there. Good wholesome winning the right way. Nobody moves there from surrounding communities or ND to play on a better team :o Well maybe a few kids but that's ok because they are not Private.

Come to think of it I really like Hermantown and DE too, weird how Proctor and the other Duluth high schools can't compete though, must be something in the water!

Funny how everyone hates the "Haves". They are better than we are so let's not pull for them regardless of the circumstance at BSM.

I hope BSM blows everyone's doors off like they did to Min. If they do and Jack is there with a Big grin, trophy in his lap, wow.

The privates win a disproportionate number of championships in all sports. Is it because they are better athletes or have a better work ethic?

Just checking. :D
Seems to me its about demographics, regarding Denfeld not able to compete. Hermantown has benefited from people moving out of Duluth. A few years ago at a hermantown game i thought i was at a Denfeld class reunion, people i had graduated with have moved into the Hermantown district. So what that says is the kids who would of played at Denfeld are now in Hermantown. As far a Proctor, because of the way the school district is set up quite a few kids who would attend Proctor go to Hermantown because of open enrollment. If a small school loses 3 to 4 players to Hermantown or Marshall each year its gonna hurt any program. As an example how would it of looked if Garret Skrbick would of played for Proctor? And now because of youth hockey players able to play out of their district if they attend a school in that district they can play out of district. It has hurt the youth program at Twig. And of course the Proctor program depends on the Twig program. There is no Doubt Hermantown has an excellent youth and High School Program.
