Right now only thing keeping New Ulm in this one is their goalie.

4-1 TRF, mid-2nd.

We just had a "216" chant at the X...sounds like they're already prepping for tomorrow night.

5-1 after 2. I'm checking out--time to go rest up for some (hopefully) more competitive games tomorrow.

Yes another sleepfest. Today was almost as bad as the girls "A" quarters.

I honestly didn't like the ruling on that. In my book, that was a very nice glove save. Do the pros have that very same rule - where even if the puck is caught behind the line it's still ruled a goal??

I haven't checked the rulebook, but I assume so. The puck crossed the goal line and then entered the goalie's glove. It's roughly the same as knocking the puck out of the net after it's already gone in. I also thought the replays were pretty clear.

That glove save review was the most interesting that happened in the 4 sleepers I watched today.
Clearly a goal after seeing the review.
I thought the 4 winning teams today played down to the competition a bit. The Prowlers will need to be much better Friday and I think the Mustangs will need to be sharper also.

The " Let's go Eagles " chant followed by " We're just kidding " was hilarious after the "216" crew had been cheering for the Prowlers for most of two periods.
