Pete Waggoner at mnhockey.tv now has a $80 unlimited HS games live stream package available for about approximately 18 rinks around the state. I have made a list based on their Youth Hockey package, but check it out yourself at the link below. Unknown at this time how many will be just video versus will have play-by-play broadcast, I’m sure Pete will update that every week

Was watching the highlights again from the 85 Jefferson/Tonka qtr. Think that one is in memory a bit more than some of the others. How many close range opportunities did Tonka get stopped on?! Tony Moran is a name to remember. I was an 8th grader and won the tourney pool at 10-1 record. Probably one of the only times I won anything LOL.

Currently watching stuff on YT like '84 Edina vs Hibbing, '87 Kennedy vs SSP. Schwartzbauer, Edina's goalie, did have one of the finer goaltending performances. Three goals given up for the tourney. That was the year Johnson beat HM in the qtr and Roseau beat B'ville 9-8 in the consolation finals LOL. Edina beat Kennedy in the final. I can remember as a boy scout thinking this was exactly the reason why I didn't want to be a boy scout: I'm missing the tourney for this .

'87 Kennedy vs Greenway semis: I think a lot of people would say this was the final. Gotta say Jason Miller did have a slap shot. Each game he scored with a blast. Kudos to Osiecki taking B'ville to a third straight final before losing. They lost all four times to Kennedy that year. Btw, that's Rob Stolp in goal for Greenway. I can remember seeing him play for MN against Jerome Butler and MN Duluth along with Zmolek on MN. Fun times. The beam holding up the ceiling at the old MariuccI. Big assist in blocked shots, I mean vision LOL.

Good grief Johnson vs HM qtr 1984. YT is golden. I'm biased but the long pants, clear boards, stand up goaltending, and WCCO coverage was the golden era for me. Music videos LOL. I know I know. Stand up goaltending isn't with the percentages but it sure was fun watching trying to make skate saves etc. Even more goals given up back then than today's hybrid/butterfly. I thought the long pants kind of gave the physical sport a sense of class.
