Too bad the goaltending for the spuddies is..........uh shaky should I say and that's a HUGE understatement. This team plays great system hockey and supports the puck extremely well. if they keep GR shots from the outside and clean up in front they'll be alright. Three good scoring chances for GR will mean three goals for GR. <p></p><i></i>

GR came out fired up big save by the Spuds goalie on the one timer. Spuds are starting to really dominate the end of the period couldnt have come any quicker for GR. I think the Spuds let down a bit in the final period, but still came away with the "W" 4-2. Probably the best game of the year so far for the Spuds. <p></p><i></i>

Jordy is the real deal. If the supporting cast keeps improving game to game as it seems they have, they will be a force to reckon with. Hopefully they can continue the momentum into Duluth East tomorrow and come away with the sweep on the road trip. I am really looking forward to the Schwan's Cup. <p></p><i></i>

Praise for Moorhead from ERempire?!?! <p></p><i></i>

Highly entertaining game. Penalties really hurt Grand Rapids tonight. Killed the momentum and GR just spent too much time killing those penalties. Moorhead has a solid club. Grand Rapids proved they can play with a top 5 team. I thought GR's defensemen were at times a little hesitant with the puck and not aggresive enough in their own end. Moorhead has a strong forecheck. Grand Rapids needs to get more production from the 2nd and 3rd lines, and it should come with time, they're young. Would be a great game if these teams meet again at the Xcel. I enjoyed watching this game live, what a treat to see the ol' IRA. Grand Rapids has nothing to be ashamed of in this loss. Both teams are good, maybe it will be different next time. Grand Rapids has 4 more quality opponents in Eden Prairie, Edina, Elk River, and Bloomington Jefferson in the coming weeks. Hopefully they get a couple wins in there to get their confidence higher. Nice job by Reider Jensen too. After watching him tonight I feel Rapids has a chance in every game they play. <p></p><i></i>

Thats a nice win for Moorhead... I just think Dave Morinville is one of the best coaches in the state... he really fine tuned his strategies while at St. Cloud State and his carried over nicely to the prep level <p></p><i></i>

i dont know if i would call it that great of a game but atleast it was entertaining at the end... i think there was a lot of sloppy play but it is really early in the season, congrats moorhead <p></p><i></i>
