Now North has goalie in with a helmet that doesn't fit

Nope.
He is always thinking deeply about strategery.
He always looks like someone peed in his Wheaties.

LN defense should be wearing orange. They look like pylons as Edina is skating right around them.

He's like Nick Saban; he's already thinking about the off season training program & next year.

I will say one thing. If Edina doesn't stay out of the box, Duluth East will put up some goals. Even though both of the Lakeville goals were deflections & not Benjamin's fault, they still need to tighten things up. Too many shots from up top getting through.

He's still mad about losing the cup in '81.

8 to 2 and Giles is still playing the top line. Very classy. These Edina players are still hitting like its a 1 to 0 game. Oh 9 o 2 now. If this was St. Thomas what would Nanne be saying? Just curious.

He's split up the top line; rarely has it been Hurley-Malmquist-Jordahl together at the same time. He's playing all the lines.

If you're referring to the penalty kill, they've given up two (EDIT: THREE) goals. I'd say they could use the work.

And most of all, IT'S THE STATE TOURNAMENT, not a throwaway game in January at Braemar.

Its not Mites. Its the state tourney. When you tone down your play you become vulnerable. I understand they are blowing em out and maybe you shouldn't have your top line out at that point but you can't tell your guys not to skate.

Play your 3rd and fourth line the whole 3rd period. Rest your top guys for the rest of the tournament. Idk. Maybe I'm wrong. Not gonna lose sleep over it.

If you wanna run up the score in a QF by running your 1st line more power too you.

Its just probably not the best idea when you are trying to stay fresh and win 3 games over 3 days.

You can't double shift the 3rd & 4th lines the entire period. Edina's 3rd line plays quite a bit. Wearing them down in the name of good sportsmanship isn't good thinking.

The top line got spot shifts the 3rd period. And the all the defensive pairings played.

Ughhh not this again.. If it's not a 10+ goal margin then this shouldn't even be brought up

i only counted hurley out on the ice 4 times in the 3rd. one right at the start and 2 on the penalty kill. all Giles was doing was running all his lines in the 3rd.

Edina played their fourth line all game, and mainly their third and fourth in the third period. Giving the top line an occasional shift in the third is something they've earned.

State tourney time.......play your best all game long. I wouldn't call off the dogs.........Edina is hungry........I let them feed as much as they want........North needed to stop them........
