Over the years I would have to rank them
2012
1996
1998
1997
Of course the were amazing players thru out the years, but those teams really were fun to watch for me. Also nick licari.? I reamber him as a Tasmanian devil... Short guy, but just solid! Physical, aggressive, great goal scorer and hands. Don't know where that came from, just trying to remember ppl
Also I don't know what year 2005-2006 possibly? Duluth marshal. Wrong thread to drop that name lol , but Jack Connelly's junior and senior team was amazing... They reminded me of Randolph , toninato, Olson... Flashy, fast and scored tons of goals... Is it possible for you to find out how marshal did that year, or those couple years.. It would be fun to see the numbers/pp stats vs the best of east

Not like East is a bad place to play hockey, eh ?
1. Typically, it's been easier to crack the Marshall lineup at a younger age than at East. It's no coincidence that Marshall became good in the late 1990s when it was near-impossible for sophomores to crack the East lineup. Throw in an easier path to State in Class A, and there is some allure there.
I'm guessing Beaulieu will move about as they need him. If they're defending a lead late in a game, I'd expect him to be moved back. Randolph will probably do plenty of tinkering to get him in a good role. He's done this sort of thing before, with players like Pat Finnegan and Rusty Fitzgerald; I think Dylan Mills played some forward for a while, too.StreetStix wrote:From what I heard, the current plan is to play Beaulieu at center. Wouldn't be surprised to see him moved around depending on the team/situation though. He played forward all the way up until high school so this isn't new territory for him, seems like Randolph wants to use that high end talent to fill the biggest need.
Agreed, I expect him to see a lot of ice time. We'll see how much that play in juniors elevated his game. People talk about his lack of size but its really just a lack of a few inches in height. That kid is like 5'10 but has to be around 200+ pounds, built like a brick you-know-what. It'll be an interesting year for him.karl(east) wrote:I'm guessing Beaulieu will move about here as they need him. If they're defending a lead late in a game, I'd expect him to be moved back. I think there's some decent talent among the younger defensemen, but they're very raw. Give them some time to learn the system, and they should be alright back there, though no doubt the 3 seniors will play plenty. It's encouraging to hear that the goaltending looked good.
Consistent scoring will, of course, be the biggest challenge. Looks as if Chartier's injury issues kept him from playing this season, which is unfortunate.
Just going to note that Chartier is disqualified this year because of his grades, there is no injury issue this year.karl(east) wrote:I'm guessing Beaulieu will move about as they need him.
