Breck knocked off Delano 7-4. Dalton Weigel had 2 assists for Breck while Ben Meyers scored a goal and assisted on one for Delano.

Ryan Poehling scored his first varsity goal in Lakeville North's 4-3 loss to Eastview.

Edina's frosh defenseman Calvin Pugh picked up 2 assists in his team's 6-1 win over Centennial.

Mitch Bourgerie led St. Michael-Albertville (STMA) to a 5-2 win over Robbinsdale Cooper with a goal and 3 assists. Bronson Mcleod picked up an assist for Cooper.

In a 4-1 loss to Wadena/Deer Creek, Bagley/Fosston got their sole goal from frosh defenseman Dalton Agnes, with an assist from another frosh, Christian Larson.

Carter Schmitz (2g, 1a) led La Crescent to a 6-3 win over Waseca.

Brendan Westbrook scored both goals for Pine City/Rush City in their 5-2 loss to a Wisconsin school.

Holy Family Catholic (HFC) blasted the Academy of Holy Angels 10-1, with Matt Anderson (1g, 2a) and Patrick Reddan (1g, 1a) picking up their first varsity points.

Jaxon Nelson, 8th grader, scored 2 goals in Luverne's 6-1 win over LeSueur et. al. Teak will get a chance to see him play Tuesday night.

Baron Thompson fired in 2 goals as Achiever Academy knocked off Crookston 7-5. Eighth-grader Keenan Johnson picked up an assist for AA.

Carter Schmitz continues to lead the scoring pack with LaCrescent's only goal in a 6-1 loss to some Wisconsin school.

LeSueur et. al downed Worthington 9-4, with both LeSueur's Isaac Westphal (2g, 1a), and Worthington's Tony Lopez (g) picking up points.

In their 7-2 loss to Tartan, Rochester Lourdes were led by frosh Montana Streit (2g) and Tucker Chapman (a).

Bagley/Fosston beat Ely 8-4 with Christian Larson (1g, 2a), Josh Dukek (g), Joe Maddy (a), and Dalton Agnes (a) getting points for Bagley. Ted Pierce (1g, 1a) and Jon Wenzel (g) scored for Ely.

Greenway of Coleraine beat Red Lake Falls 4-3 with frosh Taylor Lantz scoring 2 goals and assisting on 1.

Alec Wonsmos of Woodbury helped his team down Hopkins 5-3 with a goal and an assist.

Updating, for games played Tuesday night (12/3):

Jaxon Nelson (2g, 1a) led Luverne in their 6-0 spanking of Marshall. For an 8th-grader, he is an impressive young player, tall (6'0") and smooth with his skating and stick handling. He centers Luverne's first line with Chaz Smedsrud, who was the top-scoring freshman in the state last season.

Sam Espring helped Chaska down St. Louis Park 5-2 with his first varsity goal.

Hill-Murray beat Lakeville South 6-0 with Joey Anderson scoring 2 goals and assisting on one.

Red Lake Falls won 9-2 against Bagley/Fosston. Bagley/Fosston got goals from Christian Larson (assist also) and Dalton Brovold (8th grader), while Chase Schmitz picked up an assist for RLF.

Nic Leisen took over the leader board with 2 goals on Monday in Dodge County's 3-2 win over Waseca, and 2 goals and an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 win over Austin.

Isaac Westphal assisted on 2 goals for LeSueur-Henderson/St. Peter and a bunch of others as they downed Fairmont 6-0.

Tucker Chapman (2g, 2a) and Montana Streit (1g, 2a) helped Rochester Lourdes to their 7-2 win over Northfield.

Luverne knocked off Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato 7-2 in Litchfield, with the 8th-grade center Jaxon Nelson scoring a goal and assisting on two.

St. Michael-Albertville beat Cambridge-Isanti 8-4 with STMA's Mitch Bourgerie (g) and Jack Kelly (a) getting a point each. Cambridge's 8th-grade goalie Jacob Sibell took the loss.
STMA's frosh goalie, Kyle Hayden, did not play in this game, but has a 2-0 record with a 91.4% save average.

Christian Larson (g, a) and Dalton Agnes (g, 2a) led Bagley/Fosston in their 6-3 loss to Breckenridge/Wahpeton.

Isaac Westphal scored a goal as LeSueur et. al downed New Ulm 5-3.

Dalton Weigel (g, a) helped Breck defeat Thief River Falls 9-0.

Baron Thompson scored one of the goals as Achiever Academy beat the Minneapolis Co-op 4-0.

In a late reporting game from Saturday, Minnehaha Academy beat Waseca 8-1 with frosh Alex Jordan (g, a), Ryan Pearson (g), and Joel Lenhart (a) picking up some of their first varsity points.

Back from traveling, Teak is updating for games this past week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Jaxon Nelson helped Luverne to two more wins, 13-0 over Fairmont (2g, 2a) and 5-3 over Minnehaha Academy (2g, 1a). Minnehaha got points from their freshmen Ryan Pearson (g) and Alex Jordan (a).

Nic Leisen scored a goal in Dodge County's 3-3 draw with Le Sueur et. al, and assisted on two in their 5-3 loss to Simley.

Mitch Bourgerie picked up a goal and an assist for St. Michael-Albertville in a pair of losses.

Delano downed Totino-Grace 4-2 with the Tiger frosh Ben Meyers scoring a goal and assisting on two.

Joey Anderson scored one of the goals as Hill-Murry downed St. Thomas Academy 3-2.

Freshman defenseman Dylan Criquet-Danielson scored his first goal for Marshall as they defeated Redwood Valley 5-0.

Minnehaha Academy downed St. Paul Highland Park 12-1 with Alex Jordan (2g, 1a), Ryan Pearson (g), Jake Lundquist (a), and Joel Lenhart (a) all picking up points.

Jaxon Nelson keeps on scoring, adding 2 goals and 2 assists in Luverne's 12-1 win over Morris-Benson. Last season's frosh scoring leader, Chaz Smedsrud, had 7 points in this game (5g, 2a).

As noted above, Eric Worre scored his first points for Chanhassen, getting 2 goals as his squad beat Rochester Lourdes 4-1. Frosh Montana Streit assisted on Lourdes' only goal.

Peter Johnson helped Fergus Falls to a 11-4 win over Breckenridge/Wahpeton. He scored a goal and added 4 assists. Breckenridge frosh Tyler Breuer had a goal and an assist in this game.

Carter Schmitz assisted on two goals as his La Crescent squad downed St. Paul Highland Park 9-3.

Christian Larson scored his team's only goal as Bagley/Fosston lost 6-1 to Prairie Centre.

Luverne's 8th-Grade Jaxon Nelson continues to lead the "frosh" scoring pack with 2g and 3a in a 11-1 win over Worthington, and 3a in a 9-0 win over Windom. His sophomore linemate, Chaz Smedsrud, leads the state in scoring with 17g and 17a.

La Crescent beat two Wisconsin schools with Carter Schmitz picking up a combined 2g and 2a in the games.

Nic Leisen continues to lead Dodge County in scoring, picking up a goal and an assist as they downed Richfield 9-5 last week.

Fergus Falls won 5-4 over Sartell/St. Stephen, with Peter Johnson getting a goal and an assist.

Ben Meyers had a 4-point week for Delano, in their 6-2 win over Waconia (g,a) and 6-2 loss to Bloomington (2a).

Peter Johnson (g,a) was involved in both Fergus Falls goals in their 4-2 loss to Park Rapids.

Bagley/Fosston downed Ely 5-4 last night, with Christian Larson scoring a goal and assisting on one.

Matt Dahlseide (3g) and Dev McCabe (3a) helped St. Paul Academy beat Mandan (N.D.) 9-0 last night.

Playing on the #1 ranked AA team, Joey Anderson scored 2 goals and assisted on 2 as Hill-Murray knocked off Minnetonka 5-3.

Connor Beltz continues to lead River Lakes in scoring. He had two 3-point games last week, in a 4-3 win over Providence Academy (2g, a) and in a 8-3 loss to Monticello (g, 2a).

Jaxon Nelson scored one of the goals in Luverne's 3-0 win over Marshall Thursday night.

Matt Dahlseide picked up 3 goals in St. Paul Academy's latest two games, which were wins over St. Paul Johnson (7-3) and Coon Rapids (5-2).
Devlin McCabe also picked up points (g, a).

Frosh Bryceton Butkiewicz leads Moose Lake Area in scoring, and added a hat-trick and one assist in last Saturday's 6-4 over Ely.

In a rare win for Bagley/Fosston, 5-4 over Ely, Dalton Agnes (1g, 4a) jumped up the scoring charts quickly. Christian Larson (g, a) also had points in that game.

Delano's leading scorer, frosh Ben Meyers, had a big game last Saturday (2 goals, 3 assists) as the Tigers ate up the Madison (WI) Edgewood Crusaders.

Ryan Poehling's goal and assist helped Lakeville North down Bloomington Jefferson 5-1 last Saturday.

Frosh Sam Huff scored a goal and assisted on one last Saturday as Maple Grove beat Moorhead 4-3.

Princeton's Jake Carlson had a big game last night, scoring once and assisting on five goals as Princeton defeated Pine City/Rush City 16-0.

Just a quick review of some Saturday games that I noted in passing.

Jaxon Nelson scored two goals and assisted on one in Luverne's 4-3 win over Dodge County.

Kevin Fellows had the same (2g, 1a) as Prior Lake knocked off Apple Valley 8-1.

Peter Johnson factored into half of Fergus Falls' goals (g, a) in their 4-3 win over Wadena/Deer Creek.

Delano defeated New Ulm 6-3 with frosh Ben Meyers scoring a goal for the Tigers.

When St. Paul Academy beat Rochester Lourdes 2-1, it was freshmen doing the scoring, Riley Bowman (g) and Devlin McCabe (a) for SPA, and Tucker Chapman (g) for Lourdes.

Updating through last night's games (Thursday, 9 Jan):

Jaxon Nelson picked up another goal and assist as Luverne downed Fairmont 13-2.

In a 6-2 loss to Wadena/Deer Creek, Dalton Agnes (2a) and Christian Larson (g, a) provided most of the offense for Bagley/Fosston.

Ben Meyers scored one of the goals in Delano's 3-0 win over Mound/West Tonka.

Freshman Bauer Neudecker leads St. Louis Park in scoring, and picked up a goal and an assist in Thursday's 6-4 win over Richfield.

Prior Lake beat Bloomington Jefferson 6-1 with their leading scorer, Kevin Fellows, getting a goal and an assist.

Cory Checco of Rochester John Marshall got 6 points in the last two games, getting a hattrick and an assist in an 8-2 win over Coon Rapids, and a goal and assist in the 3-1 win over Mankato East.

Bryceton Butkiewicz scored a goal and assisted on one in Moose Lake's 6-3 loss to Northern Lakes.

Ryan Poehling had a goal and an assist as Lakeville North took Rochester Century to the woodshed, 12-0.

A week earlier, Rochester Century picked up a 5-0 win over Robbinsdale Cooper, with freshman Johnny Schmitz getting his first varsity points (goal, assist).

A couple of weeks back, in a battle of Rochester schools, Mayo beat John Marshall 7-2, with Anthony Oliveto scoring two of the Mayo goals.

Rochester Lourdes beat New Ulm 5-4 last night, with Montana Streit (2g, 2a) and Tucker Chapman (2g) playing a big part.
