BSM will get the systems worked out, they are really small and that has created some issues as well. Look for the team to make huge strides over the year as the younger guys learn to play at the HS level and the D and forwards do better in their own zone. Still need the goalie to come up big when needed.

I don't think it causes a mess. The only thing that was found out is that Benilde has problems after back to back 7-3 losses. That is where the mess is.
If HF wins another one of their section games (Wayzata and Tonka), depending on how BSM does in section play, could have an argument for a top 3 seed.

So BSM started their JV freshman goalie today and he got a 6-1 win.

3rd period I though they went into some sort of Defensive something or other...1 guy chase the puck and 4 stay back...I have never really liked that type of protecting the lead play - because it usually creates a ton of opportunities for the other team - which in last nights game it did for BSM in the 3rd. But great win for the Fire's program.
Lets see if they can keep the momentum..
HF goaltending......2 Eden Prairie kids who are lights out....will this come back to haunt EP?

They had 2 EP goalies last year, and I think we all remember how that turned out

but after this year, it may be a different story with Rassmussen being the starter for HF and no one with experience at EP

Hopefully that match up will occur again.. LaCombe gets all the harder games for HF, ..But Rassmussen is doing a great job too.
If HF can keep putting pucks in the net and playing tough and keep out of the Penalty Box, maybe more good things will continue to happen for them....

Rassmussen comment was referring to 2014-15 season. Aware that LaCombe is the starter this season, and rightfully so.
