Totally agree, this program is in a complete tailspin ,I mean my god the have lost to hill Murray,Burnsville, and now Benilde not only will CDH beat them which hasn't happen in about 10 straight games I would be suprised if they can even get by Richfield or Sibley, this is a complete and uter breakdown

let's be clear about this once STA moved up to AA and vannelli stopped getting his handpicked recruits from all over the World they have gone totally downhill-- to lose in ot to Benilde, and Hill Murray and by 1 goal to Burnsville its apparent they should have stayed in single A

I take it you're needing a sarcasm emoticon for your post, bauerman ?

It's still a very good team of course.

Ah, talk on campus is that we're young. Some say we won't go to the X, others say we could make it to the semi's. Personally, I think this team is too inexperienced.

To say we're in a "complete tail spin" is a bit dramatic. Yeah we lost to Hill, but we also could only beat them once last year- a year with one of our best team's in a while. Also, we're laying it on SSP right now at 4-0 in the first - a team that beat Sibley by one goal.

Could be a interesting year next year if Versich and Novak stay. Hallet would have some more experience and the team would be fairly well bonded. Then again, it is possible to find a groove late in the season here and build some momentum going into February.

At least nobody expects a 4-Peat...

Maybe I was being a little sarcastic, I'm obviously not as observant as Stats81

Thanks baurman! Never said they were in a complete tailspin, nor did I say they weren't a good hockey team. Just my opinion that they won't be in St. Paul in March. I also don't think they will win a title in AA for a very long time. Perhaps you need thicker skin?

While your first opinion may well prove to be true, I think you're climbing pretty far out on the limb with your second one.

I'm thinking crow. I counted 3 seniors that play regularly
10-12 returning jurors including both goalies. Just my opinion.

Pretty sure the returning jurors and Judge Vanelli would agree!

It seems the only top team in the state with a hand-picked recruit from other parts of the world would be Burnsville. A great way to avoid MSHSL transfer rules apparently is to host an exchange student that is a talented hockey player. Other schools should take note to supplement there rosters. :P

I don't know; if he "didn't see" a controversial crucial play, at a crucial time, in last year's championship game, maybe he'd miss this too :P

I wonder how many of the other foreign exchange applicants let out a collective, "Huh ?", when they saw the question, "What is your ppg ?" instead of "What is your gpa ?"
