Wow, too bad it's not for the ship.
I was hoping for two all-North finals, but I understood what a longshot that would be in AA. At least they didn't fold up and go through the motions after their first loss.

I just want to congratulate this fine group of Roseau Ram Hockey players on a well deserved consolation championship. You represented Roseau with excellence and it showed for all to see in the great state of hockey.

I especially want to say thanks to the graduating seniors for these many years of great hockey. I've been following this group of guys since they were in youth hockey. They are all excellent hockey players, but more importantly; they are all fine young men who have made Roseau proud both on and off the ice. You will all be greatly missed.

Best wishes, The Roseau Hockey Fan

I, too was hoping for a pair of all-north finals, but I only got the one in AA.

Heh heh.

We don't rebuild. We just re-load.

Well, an unfortunate loss to end East's season, but no shame in losing to this Roseau team, which proved its mettle all Tourney long. And this East team overachieved simply in making it, and Kolar's injury forced a lot of last-second re-juggling for an offense without a whole lot of firepower. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard he was shut down in the 3rd period yesterday.)

Thanks to our 4 seniors...they may have been small in number, but they all played huge roles this season. Kolar was this team's best forward when healthy, Marinac was a rock, and Trapp and Beaulieu made for one of the best defensive pairs in the history of a team that has had a ton of great defensive pairs. They'll all be missed. All in all, thanks for a fun season, Hounds...see ya back here next season. :)
