Is Luverne moving up to Bronze division next year? (or is it
this year yet?)
Mostly AA teams at that level would make it harder for them to be one of the last unbeaten teams.
No, they are in the Open division again.

Superior Spartans high school hockey in Superior WI is good. They have a nice program and youth hockey over there. A great atmosphere as well when you go to play them in their back yard. Nice move WBL. I just wish for some reason you guys where still on our schedule. We seemed to have played you guys every year and then last year it just stopped. =(

Funny thing is Sager and Esse were talking about playing this year but it wouldn't work out with both of the teams schedule so Esse recommend to Sager that they should play Superior cause they were gonna have a good team next year and that's how they got on the schedule

It's good to see the Spartans getting some recognition from metro teams.

I'm stunned that they have Greenway on their schedule. Greenway may reach .500 on a relatively weak schedule this upcoming year. Next year and the following year Greenway should be respectable, but this upcoming year I'd be very surprised if they give White Bear much of a game.

We had a morning skate there before we went and ate and checked into the hotel in Grand Rapids so the players could stretch their legs out after that long bus ride and everyone fell in love with the rink and wanted to play there so I think that's why they are playing up there next year

I wish Greenway could give you guys some competition. Greenway and White Bear had some great games when Greenway was AA. Greenway won those games (around 2000) and they were always nail biters.

Grrenway1969----How are the crowds at the home games?

The crowds are small. Weak teams over the years and the fact that the communities that make-up Greenway are half the size they were when Greenway fielded competitive teams. I expect the crowds will start to increase over the next couple of years as Greenway will get better.
