I am honestly curious as to what the people on the side of creating this new (call it what it is) naming system thought this would do?
What on earth was it going to change? Seriously, what could the outcome had been otherwise? Please someone tell me what the "powers-that-be" were directing this towards.[/quote]
This was the obvious outcome once they allowed AA associations to also have A level teams. The original intent was to keep everything the same same during the season and then have a AA tourney for "big" associations and an A tournament for "small" associations based on HS classification. So that way AA and A were A for all intents and purposes letting A and AA associations to play each other all year, but letting the small associations the opportunity to make it to state. Good intentions gone wrong.
