Jake Hansen - suspension was the point leader when he left
Derek Quast - seperated shoulder I think
Sean Hilpisch - left from the game for some reason
The curse lives on.....

Not one of them would have much difference in the game.

And for what Jake Hansen did, he should have been suspended from the team for the rest of the season.

How can you even say they wouldnt have made a difference, with those three out of the lineup you are putting in 3 jv kids that dont have nearly as much experience. Regardless of what hansen did he is still great player and is still on the team
The curse lives on.....

The only one that would have made any difference would have been Hansen, however, his dumb off-season moves helped screw him over.

I think its titled hartzell and hansen or something along those lines. Yes, wbmd quast and hilpisch would have made a difference because they are both good players . Anytime your team is missing 3 players to place in JV kids your team obviously isnt going to be as stong.
The curse lives on.....

I do think they miss Hanson for the extra scoring punch. Right now, the only line for WB that's really a constant threat is the Grun, Roth, Svoboda line. Defensively all three lines that play are pretty good, but they haven't been putting too many pucks in the net.

Good game last night though. The Jordy Christian goal was unbelieveable. That kid is real good. Good defensive play at both ends. And both goalies came up big.

Defense

Jordy made one defenseman not look so great defensively. One play, I know, but lets tell it like it is. Overall, I agree with BearCountry.

Very enjoyable hockey game. Moorhead was a little stronger overall. WBL goaltending was the difference, Moorhead had a few more better chances than WBL, especially at the end of the game.

I was a little disappointed with WBL's top offensive player. Have seen him play better last year, may have had a better supporting cast last year, and/or less pressure to produce.

I do agree with BearCountry about White Bear's only threat for a scoring line and with the defense too. They are going to have to pick up the scoring if they want to go anywhere this year.

Great game. Very Physical. Jordy Christian was checked heavy behind the WBL net by Kleidon late in the first and did not return. White Bear out shot Morehead 26 to 18. Faust made several great saves in OT when WBL was shorthanded.

Was impressed with the sophmore W Nick Theilen for Moorhead. Kid's small but can play.

Caleb Wolfgram had a good game for the Bears.

I saw the shots listed the other way around. 26-18 for Moorhead.

White Bear v. Moorhead

Moorhead outshot White Bear 26-18 for the game. The OT was completed dominated by Spuds. Of the 8 minutes, about 7 of them were in the WB zone. The WB goaltender stood on his head to save the game for them. Jordy Christian's goal in P1 was one of the prettiest you will ever see.

Jordy took a pass in the neutral zone, then after crossing the blue line with a defenseman right in front of him, he pushed the puck between the defenseman's legs and zipped around him and picked up the puck again, then skated in on Faust and put a move on him that made him go face down, then Jordy buried the puck. As I said before, it was a thing of beauty.

the move he put on faust was unbelievable I doubt many goalies could have made that save
The curse lives on.....
