I just don't get it. One great thing on this kid is he didn't bolt on his friends for the so called greener grass of privates. Class act and will do very well at the next level.NLHockey wrote:Me tooThePuckStopsHere wrote:Both very good but I would have bet the house on Kuehmichel.CreaseMonkey wrote: Now that the final two candidates have been named are there any opinions on why these two were chosen over the others? Based on statistics alone, they were not the two that would jump out at me. No knock against either one as they are both very good tenders.
He's definitely done more with less than most.ThePuckStopsHere wrote:I just don't get it. One great thing on this kid is he didn't bolt on his friends for the so called greener grass of privates. Good luck to both nominated.
I agree, timing is odd, not sure why they need to announce when they did. Lubby is making the most of it though. Three shutouts since the announcement last Thursday. He has one more stiff test before playoffs. See if he can get 4 in a row against Farmington on Saturday.SidneysDogHouse wrote:Odd how this award is for best Senior goaltender during the regular season, but the season isn't over yet? Lubby is good, but nowhere to be found on the top 10 stat list?
