My two cents on the 1st period

LN is the more skilled team. I thought they had 3 or 4 good chances. Hill had 1 good chance and they happened to score.

Hill was the more physical team. I'm a little worried about their outlet passes/getting it out of their own zone. LN holds the puck a little long. Trying to do too much individually?

Anyway, fun first period, good first period all around.

My thoughts exactly. First flop for LVN, with more to follow!

Just had an even worse one in that scrum

Crazy how easy they get knocked off their skates!

Third act opens with a dive, and when that doesn't draw a whistle, he stays sitting on the ice and grabs the other kid's stick.

Keep it classy, Mr. Hockey Finalist.

Absolutely a brutal dive unlike the beautiful dives taken by your favorite team

Well if your good at it why stop?

Someone should tell North to stop cause they are not good at it

Thanks Hill for a great year. Begley is young and I expect him to be great in goal. Good young crop of sophomores coming up. Gotta find a bit more scoring though.

Hats off to LN. Their O gets most of the attention, and rightfully so. But their D is also ridiculous.

that goal that poehling kid had right off the face off after the offside call was pretty. was pretty terrible offside call to begin with though. what happened to sats? is he gone or is he waiting to reappear when LN wins it all and get his lols in then ? :)

After last years debacle, he has changed his tactics hoping for a different result this year.

Congrats to North....

It's been a pretty bad tournament for the the 3 Metro East teams thus far, struggling with New Ulm, blowing a 3 goal lead to East, and now this.

Well, Bill and Jacob being capable of an upset doesnt result in an upset tonight. Panthers played a much more error free game than in their 4-3 win at Aldrich back in December. Panthers march on to 29-0.

This one was over when Seper revealed his hair. LVN is an extremely loose team as evidenced by the humor demonstrated during introductions. Loose teams are typically very difficult to beat. They have tremendous confidence and it shows in their attitude. Let's see if it carries over the next two nights.
