You can say that againTheHockeyDJ wrote:Terrible first period cost them. Took way too many penalties. Middlestadt is like playing like it's a video game. Would have been a nice win, but the most important game of the week is tomorrow.
Exactly like last year? Last season they had lost to Warroad and Duluth Marshall at home and got steamrolled by Edina and EP. This season is much different. Eden Prairie can make just about any team look bad. This is also the first week they've had the BAM line healthy. While I would agree that East can't be counted out, saying Rapids is showing the exact same inconsistency has to be the more ridiculous thing I've seen posted on this board this season. Just a gross generalization.Sats81 wrote:Rapids has shown exactly what they showed last yr. inconsistency. Losses to top tier teams (BSM, LN, EP) tie with bemidji. I got money on hounds come late feb.

Not a top team according to your very poor perception. What team meets your perfect standard of consistency? BSM and EP could be the only two to this point. Your analysis is more than inconsistent, just pathetic. The goal is to get to state and right now GR looks like the best team in 7AA. East has won 7 section titles in a row, not 30. In 2006 and 2007 GR had a much better roster than East and they went to state. Any other year it would have been an upset had GR won it, with the exception of last year. How convenient to leave out the win over Edina at Braemar. Any other team wins that game and they'd be getting accolades regardless of the notion that Edina is down this year. And there is nothing wrong with Klatt doing a goalie rotation with two sophomore goaltenders right now that have loads of potential. Stejskal has been good, Holum has been very good. And the tie vs Bemidji was a great game between two teams playing great defense and having great goaltending that night. Bemidji also belongs in the top 10.Sats81 wrote:TheHockeyDJ wrote:Exactly like last year? Last season they had lost to Warroad and Duluth Marshall at home and got steamrolled by Edina and EP. Keep making excuses. They are inconsistent. Bottom line. If GR wants to be considered a top tier team they need to win games against top tier teams. Season still young and already have 3 losses and a tie. Too many issues with their blue line and Russian roulette with the goalies.

Elks dominate and beat GR 6-2. Again, INCONSISTENT. I repeat GR is INCONSISTENT! Care to comment now DJ? 7AA is NOT GRs section to lose. Sorry bud.
Countdown till the rapids faithful start their "fire klatt" campaign....3...2....1....
No doubt east or elk river wins 7AA. Rapids has a self fulfilling prophecy.
Wow! Did a guy from Rapids steal your girlfriend in college Sats?Sats81 wrote:TheHockeyDJ wrote:Not a top team according to your very poor perception.
