I am sorry, I was wrong....maybe I didn't say it on this thread but I have said it somewhere on a section 8 thread.........East Grand Forks Greenwave will NOT definitely NOT be the one's to shock the state and take seciton 8.....I don't see anyonoe beating Moorhead acceptions are made at the games of someone's life....the only team I see doing that is Roseau...as for Warroad, I do see promise in any of the 3 followers TRF or EGF or LOW, but EGF gets moved to the last resort for now................anything can happen in the geat white northland of hockey though, weird things come up on the prarie..........if they do, this will be the year...........not a chance........ <p></p><i></i>

It isn't my own meth so to speak....but I would put Roseau's first line against any other in the state. But then after tht they dont have the depth of Moorhead and nearly anyone else in the state. Roseau has the ability to knock off Moorhead, im havin alil hometown faith. I do know that Moorhead is MUCH MUCH greater than Roseau. And im sure the Roseau players know it too. But it all depends on who comes to play on any given night. <p></p><i></i>

Moorhead and Warroad will both knock off Roseau on any given night, (even if they are struggling) <p></p><i></i>

Warroad and Moorhead could play like crap and they would still take roseau by 5 goals. <p></p><i></i>

Any questions as to who will take 8a should have been answered after Warroad's 12-1 drubbing of EGF. There's Warroad and then everybody else. No one else in 8a stands a chance against them. We'll see how TRF does against them next week. LOW is down from last year. Crookston will play them tough, but will still lose. If KC (Hallock) beat them it would be "Miracle 2" (actually they wouldn't see them until the sections championship and that in itself would be a. Miracle. Roseau will not beat either Warroad or Moorhead. They are more of the caliber of the rest of the teams I mentioned. (They even lost to KC last year). The simple fact of life is that Warroad & Moorhead will dominate Section 8 this season. I'll even go so far as to pick Warroad over the Spuds. <p></p><i></i>

You are right, this is the best Moorhead team probably ever. Maybe even one of the best teams to play in Minnesota. Is it wrong for me to have a little faith in Roseau? It is only the cockiness of Moorhead I am really picking at. But I guess I can let you have your sense of pride this year and let you enjoy it. Next year Roseau starts its 3-4 year run at state. <p></p><i></i>

I'm thinking that ole Kranky is referring to the match up with section 8AA's best against 7AA's best on Tuesday night in Moorhead.<br><br>I will not predict an outcome in this contest and there are those that believe that a multitude of variables could alter the end result, contrary to what most believe.<br><br>I'll put it this way. This is your year, I was all over section 8 last year cuz I knew Moorhead and Warroad couldnt win state. I saw Moorhead today, WOW. And they were without Lee. Now I have to see Warroad, but even this city fella will tell everyone that this is really the year of SECTION 8. <p></p><i></i>

I must say, isn't it convinent for Lee to not be at the 2nd biggest tourney of the year? That way if, they won't, Moorhead loses, they can always claim that they were without their superstar.
