I was looking at Eden Prairie’s schedule and could see them losing their next six or more. I wonder how that would impact their rank.

They are a real crap shoot, they have shown potential to play with some top teams but have also laid some eggs.

Good thing for Blaine you don't count losses because that 9 goal one tonight sure would hurt their ranking.

My question again, what has Moorhead done to deserve a 6th ranking???

They win the SOG totals by a lot in every game. They are Moorhead, and everybody says they are really good. They have the best players for an A team opting up to AA.

Does Moorhead really opt up? I assumed their enrollment was fairly large.

Enrollment is about 1400. What’s the cutoff. Not sure exactly but that not a top 64 school in the state as far as size?

218 opt ups are GR, CEC, Bemidji, Roseau

Brainerd 1640
Moorhead 1514
Duluth East 1378

Three biggest schools in the north (by definition you have to be 20 miles or
so north of St Cloud).

Then the opt ups.
Bemidji 1179
Cloquest, Carlton & Esko 1079 (combined)
Grand Rapids 972
Roseau 305

It hurts them because they didn't earn any points tonight so teams below them that did will move up on them. Had they beat Tonka they would have earned a bunch of points. So in that way they were hurt. Blaine will continue to move down the rankings if they can't win consistently or at least pull off some ties with top teams.
