Every year a couple guys playing D1 get drafted. The guys who do are usually contemplating transfering. ie, Dan Kronick last year.

It doesn't mea he'll play in the USHL next year.

very interesting stuff i would assume one of them would end up in the USHL with there starting goaltender Jimmy Howered (sp??)still with eligibility left being an all-American an all.

Not only do you need to prove yourself in the USHL before you head to a Division one program it looks like you need to prove yourself in another Junior program b/4 you can get a shot at the USHL

Juniors/D1

I always thought that the idea behind juniors was to get the experience/size to make D1. Why would someone like Lundin leave Maine to play back in juniors?? Did he get asked to go back to juniors or was it his choice??

playing time

he probably did not want to use another year of eligibility as a backup behind the all american

Troy Davenport left Cornell to go to the USHL, playing time was his issue I beleive. So going from D1 to the Juniors isn't unprecedented.

Plus, if you plan to transfer directly from one school to another, you have to sit out a year at your new school. This way, you can play for a year before entering your new school.

It sounds on Tri-City's website like Lundin is going to come for one year to get a lot of playing time, then return to Maine where he will take over as the starter.

ONLY Two contestants entered, I did not include myself in the contest, conflict of interest in all.

juniorhockey won the contest with a solid 15 out of 30 Minnesota High School players drafted in the USHL.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... smokin.gif ALT=":smokin">

He did not submit a tiebreaker list of the first round.

hockey boy came in second with 9 out of 30. None of his first round picks went in the first round, however from the look of things some would have if they would have committed to playing in the USHL for sure.

Junior hockey email me your address for you $20.

Congratulations, I am sure that there are a couple of teams in the USHL and the NAHL that could use your expertise.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/pimp.gif ALT=":hat">
