Add Breck to the list. Ronda (Curtin) Engelhardt just named as co-head coach of the Minnesota Whitecaps.

Looks like Kristi King has taken a job at the Univ of St Thomas. A gentleman by the name of David K.B. Cole listed as the new head coach for Centennial girls.

Lakeville South lost 9 seniors and have a new coaching staff. They may be down a bit this year. They did get a decent senior player back who left last season to play at Gentry but came back this year.

How do you play at Gentry last year and then play for the High School this year without moving?

If they played on the tier 1 team they only lost that year of eligibility. The person did not play in a MSHSL team. It would be like playing a year of Junior gold.

If they don't change schools but played T1 hockey that would be correct. But in this case, the player left LS and went to Gentry school, then came back to LS and is now playing. Not sure how they got around the rule without a residence change, etc.

Gentry has two teams on that plays a tier 1 schedule and the other that plays an MSHSl schedule. If the girl you are talking about played on the tier 1 team she is eligible to come back and play on her HS team. Transfer rule only applies to the MSHSL. That's why boys can go play Juniors in the fall and come back for their HS season

Only thing that matters is residency and school of attendance...kids can be allowed to play by declaring hardship without changing residence...hardship can be declared for several reasons not just financial..
