CEC probably deserves to be out of top ten for now, but I’d imagine they will be back in before the year is up.. maybe sooner. Plenty of high quality opponents to make it up against.

CEC is still in the same muddied 10 through 15 waters as Maple Grove, Wayzata, and Holy Family. Maple Grove is probably the leader of that pack, followed by Wayzata.

Karl, hope you are not too tied to your preseason ratings because it needs a bit of shaking based on early results.

They always do. A few more games' worth of results through the end of the week will help, too!

So who were Karl's biggest misses?

WBL improved 16
Blaine improved 13
MH improved 12

CDH dropped 20+
HF dropped 13
CEC dropped 11
DE dropped 10

And the moral of the story is.....
Powerhouses stay powerhouses
Privates are unpredictable
7AA is over-rated

Roseau went from not a mention to #16. That would be considered at least a small miss!

Surprised 7AA was as down as it was this year. Cloquet really underachieved but the section final will be the game of the year. Wish I could make it because it’s going to be one that will be talked about for a long time.
