threw a penalty flag!" Sorry lady you are announcing hockey not
football. Her counterpart is blah blah blah

I know. I tried to give her an honest chance, but it's hard to listen to a play-by-play person that obviously doesn't know the vocabulary of the sport. I finally hit mute after the third time she announced a team was on the "penalty play."

Personally, I have no problems with either announcer.
Definitely better than listening to Ben Clymer.

The woman this afternoon could learn something from this Shaver guy.
And Parrish, maybe a coach has another plan than keep it simple.

I'd rather listen to Sloane Martin (the afternoon announcer) than Wally Shaver.

It would being me back to my high school days if him and Lou called a game together. Like em or not, those are the announcers I remember

For as many people who complain about Wally Shaver, man that guy can call a game. Love listening to him. Parrish, on the other hand, he couldn’t talk more about his high school career, the Jaguars and “baby blue”. Close the yearbook, this isn’t about you. Just like last year when it was “our and we” when talking about Orono. Let’s put a jar on the counter and make him put $1 in every time he mentions his high school career or Jefferson.

Kinda like Lou Nanne referencing Edina over and over and over. I enjoy his commentating, but the Edina talk needs to go away. His grandkids no longer play for Edina so lets move on. No one knows the game better than Lou

Wally is a terrific play by play guy. A true pro. Lots of interesting stories. Would love to see him take over the Gopher games.
McCloud and Clymer are just plain awful!

Keep it simple...and how many times in that 1st period of Delano vs. Greenway did he say how great Delano's defense is? How they are ok playing with a 1 goal lead, the d zone is layers of kids in the way to the goalie. Blah, Blah, flipping Blah.

Lou started already....flubbed up calling one of the teams Edina during the Lakeville South/ EP game
