It’s good to hear Spuds are playing well. This Spuds team has left us faithful scratching our heads with a loss to Roseau in OT after outshooting them 15-3 in first period, being outplayed by Tonka in a close win, and a tie to St. Michael-Albertville. Now it’s Eden Prairie tomorrow and Andover on Tuesday..... we this team is finding some consistency.

Karl is going to have fun with the next rankings. I was ok if EP relinquished the top spot for not blowing opponents away, but Andover gets beat and the top is now a mess.

I just want Kniven to know, even if HM beat Cloquet, we've never once recruited one player from CEC. Other top teams cannot claim the same thing...

Remember last year, Donovan was the pre-season NHL scouts’ favorite but as the season progressed others joined the mix with BB named in the end. I don’t doubt Gleason & Kaiser are right there with Biondi & I’d have no problem seeing Gleason win it. Richels will be a finalist too, but with Tufte winning in 2016 & Brodz in 2019, has nil chance of winning (at least politically) in 2020Re: Games Friday 12/27/19

Losing to a team outside of the top 20 is pretty significant I would say. I would put EP, WBL, and Hill above Andover at this point.

Andover outshot them 2 to 1, but just couldn’t score. It happens. EP could have EASILY lost to Chaska (a team outside the top 20) and the EP game was even the whole way. So Andover played a more dominant game than EP, but lost. No reason to say they aren’t easily one of the top teams in the state. I wouldn’t drop them out of top 2.

Tonka follows up win over Andover with win over the preseason darlings from BSM. 2AA is not a 1-horse race.
