1A, 3A and 5A have not won a game at State since 2017
I mean section 1 was in the state championship game last year so that's clearly not accurate. I'm also assuming you meant games on Wednesday, because 1, 3, and 5 have all won consolation games since 2017 as well.

Monticello played better than I was expecting. Warroad had the depth and the better snipers, but the Moose weren't that far behind. They had some chances, but they weren't able to capitalize. Much more than I expected from a below .500 team.

Warroad 7 Monticello 1 Final
Gardner was able to complete the hat trick in third period and a goal on silky move by Sophomore Pilgrim finished off the Moose. Gardner after the game said, "the boys got buzzing in the third period." Buzz indeed as they outshot the Moose 48-18 on the game. Warroad moves to the Semifinals on Friday.

my fault forgot 1A Dodge County got a win over the Hermantown JV or my comment would have been correct if can still count that win last year as a COVID situation more then anything haha
Silly comment on my part though!
And no I was not counting consolation meant championship round.
Moving Mankato's into 3A will help a ton, SCC and LF to 5A will be big and next year Northfield, NP and Albert Lea should all be tough for 1A
