We’re getting closer to puck drop! Hopefully we get nice weather and two good games.

Anybody been able to find any streaming options for the games? Their website says NOTHING. Twitter, nothing. Facebook, nothing.

I'd be shocked if it isn't shown somewhere...

I'll cop to being the dumbest guy I know. But isn't this a Bally Sports thing? Why would they let someone else stream it?

You’re in California, right Spar? Venmo me $50 and I’ll point my laptop at the TV and you can watch on Zoom

Thanks man. My wife is there right now, so I thought about suggesting it would be nice if she attended and did a live stream over her phone. Granted I want her to come back, so maybe not...

You can sign up for a free 7 day trial to Bally Sports on certain platforms.

I saw that. Except I can't because I'm in California and you can only sign up for the local one. I could up my package for the month on directv to get all the sports channels. Then dump it next month...

Isn’t Bally in bankruptcy?

Yep!

America’s largest owner of local sports channels is heading toward a complex $8.6 billion debt restructuring in bankruptcy court as it stakes its future on a new direct-to-consumer streaming service.

Not impressed with either of these teams. WBL looks big and slow. HM looks like individual hockey.

High school kids always look slow on TV.

Hill will end the regular season with at least 10 losses. They still have Edina twice, STA who they already lost to, Maple Grove and Moorhead. They could lose all of those. What this does mean is they can compete in their section. Or lose to anyone. Nothing will surprise me. They played well tonight for a .500 team and they are improving at the right time.

It’s like 0 degrees, on an outdoor temporary rink, with poor lighting. I'd hardly use this game as a barometer of their skill, speed or skating ability.

That's why the MSHSL should make these games exhibition contests. And they should have no bearing on any post-season seeding.

I watched 3 games of outdoor hockey yesterday and the two slowest by far were WBL boys and girls.

My point is that I don’t think WBL is a very good team this year. Definitely not as good as their record. They play a very soft schedule and build a great win/loss record. Kind of reminds me of HM decades ago when they had to play each team in their conference twice.
I also said they looked slow, which you attributed to being a HS team playing on TV. Well there were 3 other boys HS teams playing on TV, that didn’t look slow.

I'd say wblk is right about even with the boys from hill school. Your talk of speed is a bunch of bias bs. We'll have to watch the next week or two. That will tell the story.
