Hill never got better at any point this year. I didn’t witness any growth from game 1 to last night’s loss. Usually Hill teams round into form late in the year. Whether that’s better D, or a feeling of more depth, etc. Never happened this year and I’m not sure why. I also never felt like Hanggi lived up to his potential. I had high hopes for him in goal this year and after watching several games live, I can say that I thought he was shakier than I expected.
Good luck to the teams left. Definitely wild sections so far

WBL beats Stillwater in OT. Seems like another year of upsets.
That stretches the definition of 'upset', to put it mildly. It's a near even money game in most years, and even more so this year. No one who paid attention to Stillwater down the stretch was surprised by this in the least.
Good to know. I was strictly going off their seedings.

Why is Gentry still in AA?
Oh right, the Zephs. Never mind.
Need some crow to eat?
Not at all. Did you read my analysis of the game? DId I not give Gentry credit?
Overall it's a down year for this section, amiright? Bears around 500, Stillwater sputtering at the end just like East Ridge, and an average Hill team. It's entirely possible Gentry will be playing next week. I personally don't care which of the survivors wins on Friday, they're all about the same, and Hill was just a nose better (on the season) than the others. No one expected this Hill team to dominate this section this year.
I stand by my supposition, Gentry belongs in A, but I guess if you can get lucky once in a while, you might as well do it in AA than in A, given the Zeph's lock on their section.
I think Eadt Ridge won like 9 of there last 11 or something like that so not sure that is sputtering. Were up 3 to 1 mid 2nd Gentry did a great job finding there way back for the win. Props to them

Well down the stretch they beat Stillwater. Then they lost to White Bear, when a win over the.500 Bears could have a seed as high as #2. Then to close out the regular season they barely got past Park. Being up by two on Gentry then losing meant a disappointing end to the season that had looked promising ten days before.
