MG's won two tournaments against the Rosevilles and Duluth Easts AND beat Blake very handily.

Looks like EP Wayzata and Centennial are a cut above the rest right now. We will find out after the Edina tourney over New Years. All the top teams are in that one.

I watched Ep play Edina both bantam A and B-1. Edinas A team is one of the best. Ep continued to play strong. Ep is still top in the state for B-1.

I cannot believe that Edina White didn't make it out of pool play. After the their pool was stacked to their favor with weaker teams, they still failed to move on. I also cannot believe how the EP,WBL,CEN,BL, pool turned out. A lot of big upsets. Blake really showed who was boss.

The Blake, Cent, WBL, and EP pool was stacked and all teams had at least one bad game. I think Cent totally outshot and dominated Blake but could not score - EP had a bad weekend but believe they are still the team to beat. Who won the tourney? If Blake won it was their weekend to shine...

I play for de and i have been reading all of these comments. Edina white was in our pool and showed they had some talent but we played terrible and lost 7-4 although in the third period i think they only got 3 shots on net cause are team finally started to play. I wasent suprised they didnt make it out. STillwater is very good. We played them and it was a battle to the end we won 5-4. But stillwater made it otu of our pool and went and spanked blaine who u are all talking so grately about 4-0 that shows maybe we had the best pool. The championship was wayzata verse stillwater anybody know how that turned out?

Blake i hear is pretty good but have not ever seen them play they lost to stillwater 4-0 but it could have been a bad game i suppose u could put them in that group.

What happened to EP

I wasn't real impressed with EP at the start of the season, but I have watched a few times since and been more impressed. What happened to them in the Edina tournament, looks like they lost 2 out of 3?

EastonSL7 Edina green was in your pool not edina white. Edina White beat you 4-1 in the white bear lake tourney. The best pool was EP, WBL, Centennial and Blake. I still find it to be amazing that the 1 unranked team for B1 in the edina tourney won the championship. stillwater is good they beat our team (edina white) 6-3 in a scrimmage 1 week ago.

Right now Wayzata is number 1. They have many big kids that aren't afraid to use their bodies.

the best team i have seen so far is that osseo team. ben sour is definately one of the best around and could easily be on the A team. watch out for him and dont underestimate them just because of their record.

Osseo isn't ranked in the top 10 as of Jan 5. Have they played anyone in the top 10 or anyone good?

Wayzata Blue, no question.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... d@mnhs>Ice Dad at: 1/19/06 9:56 am

I have heard Sauk Centre/Long Prairie has a very strong Bantam B team. They just beat Elk River, are undefeated and look like they might be the strongest team in district 15

You've gotta be joking about Osseo. Wayzata Blue, Stillwater and EP are probably the top contenders for state.

I think a lot of people are overlooking Princeton and Pine City in District 10 - especially LPH. Both are at the top of the District and have better records than Centennial Red, who is ranked #3. I think Cent. lost to one of them and tied the other.

Wayzata Blue just keeps winning, although it might be kind of sad what they did in the Alex Tourney. And Stillwater and EP are both trying to figure out their identity. Stillwater has 5 ties in D2, which signals parity, and EP final got a blemish on their D6 record with a tie against Chaska.

Most of the top teams will be in Moorhead next weekend, so it will be interesting to see the travel path of the championship trophy on Sunday. (Or Monday if we have to twiddle our thumbs waiting for people to report scores from the weekend!!)

pwrsk8-how can you think sauke center is the best team in district 15 when the 4th ranked team in the state is in district 15-- Moorhead

I would say LPH has the rankings fairly correct. The teams that deserve to be a the top are, the one's that don't deserve to be up top aren't. Just because a record is good it doesn't mean the team is good. When Sauke Center/Long Prairie (wherever that is) has played and beaten a top 10 team, then they are in contention for a closer spot up top.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p100.ezboard.com/bmnhs.showUserP ... kyscout at: 1/20/06 6:58 pm

I heared that Sauk Centre/Long Prairie known as Prairie Centre is 16-0. They beat alexandria worse than moorhead black did I think they are the real deal. They beat Elk River too.
