It was cool to talk to people in real time, though there were certainly a fair share of juvenile insults tossed around. I'm hoping people are still interested in the chat room. <p></p><i></i>

It works but no one ever goes on it... so your stuck talking to yourself... also I think i counted 7 pop-ups that came up when i went on... and than i exited out of one and 3 more came up... <p></p><i></i>

ANOKA, people do go in there on a nightly basis. When I've been in there, anywhere from 10-12pm at nights, there's been as many as 20 people in there. Keep in mind that the last 2 days/nights were Friday and Saturday. Most people have better things to do on those nights than sit in a chat room. <p></p><i></i>

Yahoo makes a good toolbar/blocker as well. Works great for me anyway.<br><br>Lee, I found a dollar in change laying around the house. What happened to the channel in Storm IRC that I was in a week or two ago? Did folks give up on that in favor of the java-based room?<br><br>IRC chat doesn't have the problem with popups since it's not an Internet site, per se.<br><br>Lee <p></p><i></i>

If the board could find a sponsor to cover the $500 bill then the board could have its own chat room too as part of going gold. It would be at the top of the page, and everyone would already be registered.
