ok....you centennial fans....use your ticket to get in the door, you get a stamp on your hand, and then you can leave and go whereever you want and come back any time....that's the way it has always worked.

you just got that wrong info. from the old ladies who sell the tickets, and for the most part they don't know jack about what's going on.

Bottom line is that it's just an unfortunate situation. There is always gonna be human error in any sport. Just hate to see a call like this in such a big game. I think we all can agree that this call did affect the game. Congrats to AHA regardless of the contoversy.

even if that goal were to have counted, what makes everyone here think that moorhead would have won that game. AHA would have still had a one goal lead, and probably would have worked harder to preserve it.

While I was pulling for AHA, I think I speak for a lot of people when I say we are just disappointed that the championship game was influenced by a bad call, and boy would it have been fun to see overtime.<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">

Regardless, congrats to Holy Angels, and Warroad for that matter, and to all of MN Hockey fans for setting ANOTHER attendance record.

no they wouldn't have, moorhead even scored after the B.S. call which made it 5-4 and if they would have counted the goal it would have been 5-5 and if it would have been 5-5 we would have put our goalie back in and they wouldn't have got that last goal.....

all said and done....THAT IS THE WORST CALL IN STATE TOURNAMENT HISTORY, IT WASN'T EVEN CLOSE TO BEING HIGH STICKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/mad.gif ALT=">:"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/mad.gif ALT=">:"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/mad.gif ALT=">:"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/mad.gif ALT=">:"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/mad.gif ALT=">:"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/mad.gif ALT=">:"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/mad.gif ALT=">:"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... ns/mad.gif ALT=">:">

and it probably would have gone into overtime...

some might argue that aha would have bounced back and got another 1... no way to know , but no one call will make or break any game, theres always something one team could have done better

they also had a goal they possibly shouldnt have had, delayed penalty.(very first goal i believe). Our goalie had possession which should have stopped play but they kept it going and pushed him into the goal and it counted as a goal for them.

any thoughts on that one to?

a delayed penalty was called. Duetz(moorheads starting goalie) fell on the puck, which woulda ended play right? but momentem from the fallen AHA player pushed duetz into the goal and it counted as a goal.

Yeah, ok even if he did blow the call, which it now looks like he did, Moorhead shouldn't have put themselves in this situation. 6 goals on 18 shots is not bad, even if one was an EN. Plus, when was it legal to use two different colors of tape on your stick? Look at the picture and Vandevelde's (or however you spell his name) blade. If that is illegal, then all the goals he scored or assisted on wouldn't count. So it doesn't really matter if the ref blew the call or not, cuz van.. was cheating ha ha.

On Holy angels first goal when your talking about the delayed penalty....When the puck was shot it went 5hole and trickled into the net....the goalie never had control...but the puck slid under the pad so the ref didnt see it until it was pointed out to him by the AHA players....and i know i am right on that...the goalie never had possession

if u watch the replay u will probaly see that it was clearly a goal, and he never had "possession" of the puck, it hit him but he never had the time to cover it up. plus if u think about it the AHA player shot the puck before he got pulled down, so by the time the ref put his arm up he had already crashed into the goalie, so it was not a delayed call, because the play was over and the puck was in. also i do agree with everyone about the high stick, it was definetely a goal, but if that was called a goal the faceoff would not have been in the moorhead zone, so you cannot predict what would have happened if the faceoff was at center ice.
