Well I graduated last year in 2004 and didn't see a lot of Varsity time. My name is Andy Osterbauer. My brother Jordan was a sophomore on JV this year, he could/should see some Varsity time this next coming year, because we graduated 3 out of our four defenseman last year. With one returning senior, we need younger guys like my brother to step it up and fill the spots. If we have good defense, we could be a very solid team. <p></p><i></i>

Good call oneseven, Elks will have 11 returners next year,with a pretty solid goaltender in Seibert.It will be tough to fill Godlewski and Ostroots spots , but also Scaterelli(sp)and Ezati as the physical forwards will be tough to fill also, but they have a real solid base to build on so.......bring on sect. 7AA.... <p></p><i></i>

being a die hard jefferson fan, i expected the jaguars to dominate in the consolation semis vs elk river considering they beat them 8-0 in the schwan cup over christmas break. I'd just like to say that Elk River really impressed me, their stick handling and passing was great, and they knew how to get the puck in the net. Good luck to elk river next year and may the continue to impress people as much as they impressed me. <p></p><i></i>

I kind of agree with you. I know they struggled during the schwans cup and we killed them 8-0, like you said, but ER always seems to turn it up a notch come playoff time.<br><br>As for the game, great game by both teams. One of the best 20 seconds that somebody could have by Godlewski with the two slappers. He has a nice shot, and he and Ostroot played good games. Good luck to the Elks in 7AA. <p></p><i></i>

Singling out players on their team, or berating their fans who post here. The Elks should do very well in section 7AA. Their dump and bump style of play is very effective and a lot of teams have trouble playing against it. Should be interesting... <p></p><i></i>
