According to the KRACH ratings, at least as of now, they are more than 2-1 favorites, so you couldn't exactly call their winning their section an upset. You always see people talking about NSP, Stillwater, Centennial and Blaine. Other than a quick posting about Meghan Lorence on here there is no mention of Irondale. I would call it an upset in the same way that Pittsburgh winning the Super Bowl last year was an upset. Nobody expected anything out of them. Despite the numbers they are still an underdog.[/quote]

ive seen them play quite a few times this year, and their hustle stands out. it should be fun to see what they do come febuary

i agree completly. Irondale is my team to watch this year. they squeeked in to the Pioneer Press top 10 this week too!

Should be a great game tonight although not as intense as the 3AA final
last year.Aldrich should be fairly full tonight.
