I would have to agree with Wisco. There is a certian arrogance/ignorance/bias that some Minnesota High Hockey supporters have when talking about Midget AAA Hockey and same is true about Midget AAA Hockey supporter when talking about MN Hockey.

I only wish that Minnesota Hockey would register thier high school teams with USA Hockey (like many other states do) so that other midget hockey programs could play Minnesota High School Hockey teams, so they can just settle it on the ice.

Wow these posts are old. Probably because the score has long been settled. But just to add some new fuel to the debate, SSM lost to SE Metro Elite 6-3 this last fall. That particular SE Metro team only drew from a small percentage of the teams in MSHSL and still beat the "best" AAA/Prep team in the country. And then to top it off, Team Minnesota Red beat SSM 10-3 in the Nike/Bauer Invitational. Yes, Minn Red is an elite team of chosen players (like SSM perhaps) only all the players were MN. Later!

All the fall elite teams would or could beat many top 20 teams that AAA had to offer. Next year will be the same. Mn has the most talent period.
