I am voting for Cloquet, not against you. And that is because I think they will win the hockey game. It has nothing to do with hating Duluth, or you.

Seems like it you have not voted for East yet this year to win when you probably think they will

I'll go check. I know I said they would beat Central and Wayzata. I picked WBL because I thought they looked very good in the FSN game. I pick Cloquet because I have seen them twice and I think they are too deep for the Hounds. I'll go check on the Tonka game.

I'll take...

Duluth East 3
Minnetonka 2
So I took East in that game...hmm...evidence just doesn't support what you are saying. I also have them rated above my hometown boys in the Section 7AA power rankings. So just stop putting words in bob's mouth.

I will just say it like this go to the East and cloquet game and you will see a real hockey team DE dominating favorite cloquet :)

So what is Cloquet? A fake hockey team? Have you seen them play this year?

No im not saying there fake i went to the Tonka and cloquet game was not really impressed and I think Ellingson is giving up to many goals they dont have strong Defense

Reid has let in 9 goals in 5 games...under 2 per game (1.8 GAA) and they give up 26ish shots per game. Ellingson also has a GAA of .934%...he is certainly letting in too many goals...for sure. Ben has let in 7 goals in 4 games (1.91 GAA-worse than Reids) and his save % is .918%...worse than Reids. East gives up 24ish shots per game...and than includes the 10 central got...so you're arguement just isn't working for you.

One game difference makes those numbers change fast this early in the season leis with 2 shutouts ellingson with none by they way ellingson gave up 10 not 9 goals so far

What im saying is if you are letting to many goals in the net your D is not stepping it up thats a sign of weak D

hey dull-uth fan...actually opponents have scored 11 goals on CEC in 6 games, which translates to 1.8333333, which is still less than leis...so, by your argument, isn't East's D worse? your logic is horrible....don't worry, it's probably not your fault, after all, you did go to east.

His only problem is that he was puzzled by the question of when Cloquet last won a State Championship, not initially realizing it was a trick question. Also, he keeps arguing after it's clear he needs to just wait and see how the Hounds do against the Jacks. East vs. Sappi City...gotta love this matchup.

yes, love the match-up...all the cliches apply to this one....sadly I'll have to wait until February to see my beloved Jacks on the tube when the play East at home on FSN, so, sadly, I'll have to suffer through another webcast of John Hack and the rest of the raving-lunatics-and-homers-disguising-themselves-as-legitimate-play-by-play-announcers. ugghhh!!!

This is the case, but Reid didn't play against SSP (two goals were allowed) so Reid let in 9 in 5 games so far. Leis shutouts were 8 and 14 saves...and Leis only had 8 of the ten saves vs. Central, so he didn't even play the whole game. You are simply wrong dulutheastfan

Can you recall the last time cloquet won a state championship and how many times they have been to state boblee why did cloquet lose against grand rapids last year twice during the regular season when east beat grand rapids through the regular season twice and then they lost at the section 7AA finals at the decc overall over all these years East is a more dominent team

I have some issues with your post. We will start by this... Duluth East beat Grand Rapids ONCE last year. It has been a lot longer for CEC at state, but I miss where that impacts this year in any way. Also, just two years ago, Duluth East and Cloquet played two overtimes before East was crowned 7AA champions. I don't think that year they were "more dominent" (work on your spelling by the way). Also, If i recall correctly, it was Reid and the Jacks that shutout your Hounds 1-0 in the section semi-finals last year. Hmm...

No east played them twice 5-2 and 4-3 and beat them
