The state hockey tournament at the auditorium, hardest ticket the boys basketball tournament at Williams arena and seeing the yearly visit of the Bemidji basketball team. Wooger playing for the U and the gophers selling out Memorial stadium for football, pretty close for basketball and hockey.
By the way back then the football players played offense,defence,special teams the whole game only allowed to subsitiute 2 players per down.

6. plastic blades for busted sticks with BIG curves
5. hearing about artifical ice from the older kids
4. shoveling rink as a skating drill
3. school laundry and towels in H.S.
2. box of christian sticks in H.S. paid for by school
1. watching all H.S. tourneys on TV in school while in class

Just before Christmas, AP's wife brought to work with her... AP's entire collection of every Beatle song ever recorded.
When AP met her at a Minneapolis restaurant, one of our public school failures had broken into her car and stole every disc!
