Woodbury is on a mission.
Tartan has proved they can play with the best teams.
A few others are looking good.
and others are looking beatable, Edina, WBL, Jefferson, Centennial all have shown weaknesses at times.
With the new Region system the South will have 2 from D8 with Woodbury, Rochester, Lakeville South and Cottage Grove looking to get in.
D2 will beat up on each other with Tartan, Duluth East, WBL, MV, Stillwater, Centennial, Elk River, St Cloud, Andover and Blaine showing up on the East.
The West will only get to bring 2 with EP, Edina, Jefferson, Chaska, Burnsville, Wayzata, Maple Grove all beating each other up.
It will be very exciting come playoff time.
not sure...but if u were sayin those are gona be the teams in the regions than u r wrong because u have 4 teams from one district in the east and the west and the most a district sends is 3 i think and D2 is two i think and u have 4 from D2....or maybe i didnt understand what u were sayin?

I know that I am just pointing out that there will be some different teams involved in the State tourney this year.
The Host District for Regionals only gets 2 teams to represent so that would be D2, D4, D3 and D15. All others send 3.
Like I said should be fun to watch as there is no really dominate teams like Edina, White Bear and Centennial were last year. Better chances for some underdogs to knock someone out.

I heard D2 will be getting 3 teams this season, they are getting one of the seeds from TC district. Anyone know if this is true?

thats retarded and everyone knows it. d6 should be getting 3 every year at least at the A level for peewee and bantam. if its 2 or 3 teams all will be in state. at peewees when centennial won edina, chaska, and ep were in state and were all d6. they were 3 of the 4 city teams. thats pretty good! and plus d6 is the best district in the state and everyone also knows that! no other district is even CLOSE

At the Pee Wee A level Oldtimer is pulling for Apple Valley to win it all. I really like how that club plays the game. They attack you with speed on all three lines and they are a small metro program (meaning small area to draw kids from). Pee Wee level is down a bit from last seasons big 92 group so to me the field is pretty open and the team that makes the most strides and works the hardest could take home the glory.
Bantam A: Bloomington Jefferson and Duluth East are my hopefuls as both programs field very nice clubs. If healthy and clicking look out for either club to do some damage. As well watch out for Eden Prairie.

I agree. D6 has a lot of dominant teams, and only letting two in, takes away A LOT of good teams that can compete with the best in state, and are the best in state.
EP looks like the team to beat as of right now, and I have a feeling that somebody will upset them in state. It is too early to tell, so many things can unravel from now until the end of the season.
As for PeeWee A: I don't pay attention much but oldtimer, I saw your AV team lose 4-1 to a subpar edina team. Pick again my friend.

Didn't Centennial just beat Chaska twice and lose a tight one to Duluth East in a tournament last week??

I, boblee, will single-handedly win both the PeeWee A and Bantam A Maha State Tournaments.
