He is from Hibbing, apparently he and the coach could not at all get along, I doubt he would've gotten much playing time because of it. Now that he's at Denfeld he plays on the first line. Probably seemed like an easy decision on his part.

Keegan Flarhety can play...Rob A. Johnson, Max Tardy, Will McLean Collin Trachsel, Benny Leis

There is a good list to start with. They have some other talented players.

Although I am hoping for a Denfeld win (Sorry Lee) I think it'll be the rich kids winning this battle.

Hounds 5

Hunters 3

If you can afford to keep your kid in hockey all the way to HS... you are not on welfare.

That is THE WORST Denfeld has played all year. Absolutely terrible, they were sloppy, slow, and they honestly looked like they just didn't care out there. It looked like they just got done playing an entire game, and then came out for the game against East. They had no speed, no puck movement, no breakout, no offenst - absolutely GROSS. I cannot believe what I just witnessed, that is not the Denfeld team I've seen play numerous times this year; I would definitely hate to be at their practice tomorrow.

I'm especially disappointed because they had the team to take on a team like East this year, I don't know what happened tonight but I can only hope they come back firing after being downed so horribly. I don't know what else to say, their play was the epitome of disgusting, that's very unfortunate they allowed themselves to perform so poorly.

It also didn't help that Jake Johnson had the stomach flu and was throwing up on the bench the entire game. But that still is no excuse for the outcome of that hockey game, gross.

Boblee, I wish to heck I'd seen this before the game. No idea where you got the idea that Denfeld would score three or more on East. Cloquet didn't, Elk River didn't, Century didn't. Where was the evidence that the Hunters would? Wishful thinking? Hoping East would lose to a Class A school?

Now, I don't like to woof when East wins; you'll see few if any examples of that. But the bottom line here is that I absolutely love seeing East pound the blap out of Denfeld. This goes back to the 70's. Outside of Cloquet and Grapids, they're the one team I most like to see East beat. Tonight was sweet, it was fun, it was an obvious Victory Polish (c) night.

By the way, of all the posts in this topic, MajinHockey hit the nail closer to the head. This game shouldn't have been close, and it wasn't.

Attaway, boys. On to the Thunderhawks.
