Warroad certainly has a chance to beat the Spuds, but it is not going to happen. Moorhead will not allow for a bad showing on home ice against a weaker Warroad team. The TRF game was a fluke.

Warroad
was and still
is the team to beat because their off night is a lot better than the next best's off night.

I agree. I didn't pick Warroad, but they're the team to beat in 8A. I really don't see PR, DL or anybody else going up to EGF and winning a couple games in a row even though I'd love to see it happen.

8A is a two horse race. You can expect to see this match up again in EGF for the Section Championship. Right now I have to lean towards a repeat trip to state for Thief. Last night they were off their game, but anybody that take Moorhead to a 2-2 tie can't be counted out.
