I'll drink to that.

Truckman, try to be objective and if you can't, ask someone who will tell you truth. Think about the example you're setting for the youngster - accountability is a great lesson to learn.

POINTS DONT MEAN MUCH IN LF, IF YOU CHECK THE BOOKS YOU WILL SEE THE 99% OF THE FIRST LINES GOALS HAVE 2 ASSISTS
Truckman is a frustrated parent of a Flyer player who thinks his son is a better player than he is so now he has resorted to taking shots at his son's teammates. Way to show some class Dad. I can only imagine what he's telling the kid @ home. Grow up and support the Flyer program or transfer your son to a different school and give it a go there.

Flyers will win 6A barring any major injuries.

I'm sure my daughter would fit in great, I just love listening to the games on the radio and hearing the late addition points after the coaches had a chance to cook the books. And I do support the flyer program in many ways, probably more than the rest of you put together.

How do you believe that you are supporting the team more then us when you are listening to the games on the radio. The team can't hear you from your house! And to think that you are more supportive then some of us on this board for the Flyer Hockey Team, well what ever world your in, maybe you have to click your heels together three times to get back to reality. Come to some of the home games, cheer, buy raffle tickets, and when I hear that you are doing this then maybe you can be a better suporter of the Flerys hockey team.

When did I say points matter in getting a D1 scholership? The subject was who was the best player in 6A, and people automatically go to who has the most points. My point was that the person with the most points is not always the best player. I would also agree that Ben is probably the best player in the section with his brother Beau right behind him. No axe to grind, just need to keep a good perspective on your goals as a team. I guess I better turn my rig around and get to the game in Rocori and say hi to all the real fans.

The alex fergus game ended in a tie. Game was 2-0 in favor of alex after 2 periods. After that the refs took over. Penalty after penalty and the first two fergus goals were on pp's. Definately refs loved fergus. Alex is the better team here but will be in

well for those of you who missed the alex vs fergus game i feel bad......alex goes up 2-0 after 2 periods has the best scoring chances and literally has the game sealed before the refs decide to take over.....and the sad thing is, granted i hate alex fergus has got to be the cheapest team i have seen all year, but yet the refs somehow gave fergus a 5 on 3 play when an alex player got checked from behind into the boards, no signal was given on what the penalty was, seems kinda odd.......and from that 5 on 3 fergus manages to get 2 garbage rebound goals......aside from the power plays fergus looked absolutly terrible on offense, defense they were strong because of size differential, but not the offense i expected to see from fergus.....

Why would you feel bad for people who didn't get to see poor reffing? Nothing I want to do more than watch a game where the refs decide the outcome. Although I doubt they did.

I think Govs was the one to say awhile back that reffing never decides the outcome of a game. When you look back at a game a couple days later with a clearer head you'll realize that there is a bunch of things that the losing team could have done or shouldn't have done that would have helped them out.

Yet there are many who still blame the officiating. Which is funny. Have you ever gone to a hockey game and not heard at least some complaints coming from each side? Alex probably got away with some in this game, too.

It's always either the lack of calls or too many calls. I've never heard someone come on here and say "Wow, that game was really well officiated."

That is true that nobody will ever say a game is "well officiated". but this one was out of control. One kid got checked from behind got injured and he still got the penalty, goalie got ripped down by the neck after a whistle and one of the D pushed the fergus guy back and the alex guy got a penalty. Alex kid got elbowed so bad the mask of his helmet cut his chin. I think these two teams will get the 2 and 3 seeds so sections could be a wild one. Will be interesting come sections i cant wait
