Obviously the rankers dont try to rank the teams. Its gotta be completely random.

Why does everyone think that Ep Red is overrated? I know they havent played many good ranked teams, but they are still a great team.

They're better than 2 out of 5 of the joke of top 5 teams. Then again, the next 10 teams are probably better than Centennial Red

Centennial Red at #2?! That is embarrassing and laughable. What are the big ones this weekend? Any tournaments? Where is the secret society going this weekend? I'll get the room.

SPS:

It's a quiet week for BB1 tourney's. Next big one I know of is Duluth Invitational (Dec 15-17)

Pool A
Duluth East
Minnetonka
Thunder Bay
Grand Forks Flyers

Pool B
Edina White
White Bear Lake Black
Rochester Black
Duluth Lakers

Pool C
Chaska
Rochester Red
Buffalo
Superior, WI

Canal Park is the place to be this weekend.

After this one, you've got Blomington, Edina, Bemidji and St. Cloud events.
according to websites - so far

Wayzata Blue over Stillwater 6-0
Wayzata Blue over Elk River 10-4
Wayzata Gold over Minnetonka 3-2
Blaine over WBL Orange 5-2
WBL Orange ties Centennial Red 3-3
WBL Black ties Centennial Red 2-2
Woodbury over Tartan 2-0

Upcoming Scrimmages within the next week:

Wayzata Gold vs EP (which?) and vs Jefferson
Blaine vs Woodbury, Wayzata Blue, Minnetonka, Edina White
Centennial Red vs Roseville, and vs EP (which?)
WBL Black vs EP (which?)

D2 league games start already on 11/1 with WBL vs Roseville

Scores dopn't mean much this early, especially with the new rules, but we'll start to get a picture of the TC area teams over the next week or two.

If it's true that EP Black is almost all second year players, then I'd expect them to have good size, while the Red team will be smaller but fast. If the Wayzata Blue team is more loaded than the Gold team, then look out for them. Edina White has a few A level players on their roster.
roseville upset white bear 1-0
they scored in the first 18 seconds
11/27

Jefferson was starting to prove that they were going to be a very good team, and they certainly proved that today. Congrats to them.

You said that EP Red has all first years. I heard that they have 7 first years same as Edina W. Anyone know different?

EP Red is all first years. they are small but quick.

Slight correction. I believe they have one ninth grader; a move in.

Rochester 5, Cottage Grove 5. Rochester didn't show up until the 3rd period, in which they scored 5 unaswered goals in the last 10 minutes. They play Stillwater tommorow.

After doing a little investigating, the 9th grader on EP RED will be a bantam next year because of his early birthdate, which would make that team all first years.

I guess it would be late birthdate.

i heard that tonka played chaska how did that game turn out?

Posted: Mon Dec 04, 2006 3:39 pm

Chaska must have won 3-2 because on Tonka's and Chaka's web site it says Chaska won. But on the D6 web site it says Tonka won 1-0. Can anyone confirm?

chaska won 3-2, should have been a lot worse but chaska couldn't capitalize

Chaska vs. Tonka

Posted: Mon Dec 04, 2006 8:04 pm
by blueblood
Chaska outshot Tonka but Tonka's goalie played well. Tonka had a breakaway with 4 minutes to go that could have tied the score.

Jefferson 3, EP Black 2 (OT)

Jeferson is for real. They might even go to regionals, possibly states. I never expected them to be this good.

Thanks pioneer man. Looks like you've put in some serious research to come up with your numbers. Many of these teams don't have current websites to get scores from, so hats off.

It would be interesting to see the same applied to Bantam A's and PW A's.

Pioneer- you rock!! Love the BCS rankings. still ?? on Elk river and EP red but I am sure we will find out soon enough. As for the Jags, they are for real- Big, Good goaltending and enough skill guys to be dangerous.
