That doesn't seem to be enough. You could possibly throw in Nick Adams. Not great, but is a good sized kid who plays hard. Going to be a tough season for the Greenies which is too bad. Thanks for Underwood though. Kid's a great tender with a lot of upside.

Underwood will be an interesting one, especially being he still lives in Coleraine. It will be interesting to see if he starts over there with all the goalies they have this year.

congrats to Greenway, but expecially Guyer. It's probably been 4-5 years since the Raiders have been over .500

I would like to congratulate Greenway on their victory as well but Greenway wasnt the only team with an injury in this game.
Our number 2 defensemen was out with leg problems, one of our top 3 forwards was out for academic reasons, another one of our top 3 forwards was out from an ankle injury in the hibbing game, and the senior goalie was out due to a back injury in the hibbing game.
I know it sounds like excuses and I don't mean for it to be that way. Greenway outworked us and played a great game. Big change from the 16-2 win two years ago though

Once again congrats to Greenway.

Yea, we lost probably the most kids out of any team in the state, or close to it. All from our A Bantam team that went to state and had an incredible year.
Derek Stepan-SSM-Possible 1st round draft pick and committed to Wisconsin
Ryan Stepan-STA
Charlie Raskob-AHA-Possible top 5 round draft pick and not committed yet
Austin Lepley-HM
Tom Caturia-STA
Alex Riveness-STA
David Duffy-Quit hockey-guessing personal reasons
I think that is it, but if anyone can match 6 kids leaving for a private school from one team let me know because I feel for ya. Its been hard for our team to rebound from it but all we can do now is work hard and hopefully get better.

First of all- I just want to say that (despite my stance as a diehard Raider fan) Greenway WILL have a better record this year than they've had in the recent, previous years. And the team has more than Guyer (which I assume you mean Al) and Ohrn. We have several solid defensemen, including Dano Kessler; as well as a group of guys that works SO well as a TEAM...something the Raiders have had some trouble with the past couple o' years.
And as to the moving of the Underwoods, as well as the Greenes and the Haags (youth hockey players)- they want their children have a "better chance" of a future in hockey. Understandable. HOWEVER, the fact that they moved to 'the bad place down the road' is considered a sin in the town of Greenway hockey. It is like spitting in the face of each and every person in the community and hockey program who spent the time teaching and nurturing these kids into what and who they are today. Its just sad.

Ok, first off here, diehard man. I was saying Trevor Guyer in goal, like on opening night. And I took no shot at Greenway here and it appears you think I have. I don't think I have said it on the "bored" but ask anyone I talk hockey with and they'll tell you that I have said Greenway will be much better than last year.

Many of the veterans say "bored" and it is in quotes because that is not the usual spelling. We spell it like that because we are bored.

Interesting from someone with a new ID, that they would critique someone else's "spelting". Gives them loads of credibility. ''
Let's hope that the Greenway program can continue to climb back up the hill and be competitive every night this year.
Good luck to the Green Raider nation.
