				1. Warroad - It's Warroad. happy?

2. Thief River Falls - Dillon and Gothberg lead the way but I'm not sure it's enough.
3. Bemidji - Can beat anyone in the section if they get the scoring and the goaltending.
4. East Grand Forks - Are better than they are playing. They'll turn it around come playoff time.
5. Crookston - Played some teams tough.
6. Lake of the Woods - Can be good (Mound and Alex games), but can also be very bad (EGF and Roseau).
7. Park Rapids - No more Lehrke's to decieve us.
8. Red Lake Falls - Have a couple good outings in them.
9. Kittson Central - Even worse than usual.
10. Bagley - Same old.
11. Walker - What can you expect.

That's just my opinion. I'll take those three teams with Marvin (on two of them) and Ravndalen over this year's team.

You caught me, I forgot about the 5th seeded Warriors. It's not just Warroad to me, single A hockey seems to be getting collectively worse IMHO. Every year is different, and it will get better. In 2000-2007 the level of play was a bit higher I think. I look and I see IFalls ranked 9th in the state (some have them higher) and I shake my head. Ask Bemidji how good they are. IFalls? The same team that lost to Hibbing 7-1, who lost to Mound 5-2, who lost to Lake of the Woods!!! 4-1? People at the state tournament will be able to tell the decline this year. It doesn't help when Hutchinson will probably be there.

75, I think you need to think about what you are saying and check some of your facts. IFalls beat LOW 4-1. The game against Hibbing was the 1st one of the year. They just beat the previously undefeated Hermantown Hawks who I thought were very impressive in their win over Marshall on FSN. There will always be some inconsistency because all teams have their ups and downs.

I,ve seen 1 Warroad game this year, the overtime win vs. Osseo 5-4 I think. If Warroad gets goaltending in the section tourney like they did in that Osseo game, they won't get past the semi's !!!

Bemidji would have had a better chance at going to state had they stayed in 8AA this year

They should be in AA, hopefully next year they decide not to continue being in A and switch over to 8AA. Its a high chance it'll happen.

Odds are they will be AA by definition and will not have to make a choice.

Oshie was a incredible player, no doubt.
He was great at UND, except for some little off the ice trouble which one was pretty hiliarious! Has anyone from college talked to Nelson?

Let me clarify on the 4-1 game...
Hibbing 7, IFalls 1
Mound 5, Hibbing 2
LOW 4, Mound 1
Oh and by the way....
Greenway (0-13) 5, IFalls 4, OT
Let's look at their amazing resume....
0-1-0 | 2-6 | at Hermantown
0-2-0 | 0-14 | Little Falls
0-3-0 | 2-5 | Park Rapids Area
0-4-0 | 0-8 | at Grand Rapids
0-5-0 | 1-8 | Warroad
0-6-0 | 1-2 | at Proctor
0-7-0 | 1-2 | at Ely/Babbitt-Embarrass/Tower-Soudan
0-8-0 | 5-6 | at Prior Lake
0-9-0 | 0-7 | Chaska
0-10-0 | 0-9 | Hibbing/Chisholm
0-11-0 | 0-9 | Bemidji
0-12-0 | 0-7 | at Duluth Marshall
0-13-0 | 3-4 | Silver Bay/Cook County
I rest my case.

I'm not sure whether you should compare Marvin to Nelson as they play complete different styles of the game. And as far as comparing Nelson to Oshie at this point in Nelson's career your nuts
