I agree! Interesting in that I know a player that wants to take the same position and is planning on playing High School next winter and play on his associations Junior Gold team.
We'll how well that goes. Most of the JG practices and games are after HS stuff.
Like the dad said - Bernie is laying the legal foundation to allow him to play in two leagues.

Maybe 2 leagues, but not if 1 is the HS.
The HSs are not under obligation to provide a place to play to every kid who signs up. They also pay for the kid to play (activity fees are a drop in the bucket). They will have no legal problem maintaining their policy.
The Bernie/D6 case will have no effect.

Pickle in the middle when both “choices” are enforcing a strict attendance policy—more waste of your money. Hockey product choice has always been there, this has been about profit for MM and nothing else. They need year round revenue streams to strive – not cloaked in the kids should have a choice.
The lawsuit is wasting all our money!! I guess we want our cake and eat it too!!
With the ruling now, maybe I should register my kids at Edina Association, EP Association, Mtka Association, and MM -- more ice time yeah!! Does this mean High School league has a monopoly as well once MM starts a HS Choice League?
There are choices – just pick one!!!!
We do both. Hasn't been a problem yet. Choice or Association, doesn't matter, seems like a kid or two is always missing from a practice or a game. Like I said we particpated in both and my kid had a better participation rate at the association stuff than the kids who only did the association.
I have always said that if my association could do what MM can in terms of organization, coaching, practice plans, politics, and price, I would never have considered looking for alternatives. We do what we can to support the association and hope it makes a come back, but until then we are very glad to have a resource like MM.
The SuperRink will host a new supplemental program this fall so now even more kids will have the ability to choose.

Minnesota Made is simply the best in terms of overall coaching, price, convenience. The best just gravitate there.

The beauty of our language, you can pick a definition and everyone can be happy (other than the parking during the Abra tourney there I have never really felt to crowded).
den·si·ty (dns-t)
n. pl. den·si·ties
1. The quality or condition of being dense.
2.
a. The quantity of something per unit measure, especially per unit length, area, or volume.
b. The mass per unit volume of a substance under specified conditions of pressure and temperature.
3. Computer Science The number of units of useful information contained within a linear dimension.
4. The number of individuals, such as inhabitants or housing units, per unit of area.
5. The degree of optical opacity of a medium or material, as of a photographic negative.
6. Thickness of consistency; impenetrability.
7. Complexity of structure or content.
8. Stupidity; dullness.
Have a great 4th everybody! Hopefully all the arenas are closed for the weekend.
