Always good stuff but don't forget the power of Coach Randolph at the seeding meeting DJ. Much more influential than your posts on the blog and prayers. Btw if it does play out I see Rapids 'easily' being done after the semis to a DM team.
If East takes care of business in thier section
Games, they'll be no lower than 3 and 4-6 will be a toss up between CEC,DM, Flake.

Marshall dominated and shut out East 4-0. If they beat Rapids, do they have a legitimate shot at the 3?

Possibly should be, but their loss to Cloquet (7-0??) hurts.

They get a home game with CEC on the 26th.

An important 7AA tilt tonight. If Marshall wins, we are super muddled. If Rapids wins...well, then we are muddled after 2.

1. Elk River
2. Grand Rapids
3. Cloquet-Esko-Carlton
4. Duluth Marshall
5. Duluth East
6. Forest Lake
7. Andover
8. St. Francis
9. Cambridge-Isanti

That's how I see it as of today. Probably pointless to point out with a 7AA game tonight, but who knows how far Marshall can move pending the outcome.

Duluth East at Forest Lake on Thursday. I think the Hounds put FL into running time.

QRF rankings
No. 6 Elk River/Zimmerman
No. 11 Grand Rapids
No. 19 Duluth East
No. 31 Forest Lake
No. 41 C-E-C
No. 47 Duluth Marshall
No. 55 Andover
No. 57 St. Francis
No. 62 Cambridge-Isanti

Pagestat
13 ELK RIVER
14 GRAND RAPIDS
26 DULUTH EAST
50 CLOQUET
51 DULUTH MARSHALL
56 FOREST LAKE
67 ANDOVER
90 ST FRANCIS
112 CAMBRIDGE

Elk River: Win both section games will be #1. Lose one will be #1.
Lose both will fall to 2, maybe 3.

Grand Rapids: No section games left. If ER loses both may get #1, but for sure #2. Cannot do anything for themselves to move up, BUT if ER stumbles and GR wins out or close to it that may give them #1
BUT if they win out and win section they could get a 1-5 seed at state.

Duluth East: If win both could get #1, stranger things have happened. If they beat SR and CEC and lose to ER, they stay at 3. Lose to FL and/or CEC could tumble to 4 or 5.

Cloquet: Need to beat East for any chance to move up in seed, need to beat DM for the 4th seed, otherwise they 5.

Duluth Marshall: Need to beat CEC to get the 4th seed.

Forest Lake: Could argue for the 4th spot right now. Could be in the 6th spot right now. Need to beat DEast for the 4th spot.

The bottom 3 will stay as listed unless St Francis bats Andover in their game then they flip flop.

Cambridge is #9.

My prediction:

1. ER
2. GR
3. DE
4. Whoever wins the CEC vs DMarshall game
5. Forest Lake
6. CEC or DM
7. Andover
8. St Francis
9. Cambridge
