Superstar, congrats one the big win. What was the game plan/strategy that allowed your team to take down the Hornets?

MN WIld - Thank you sir.... I think for most of the game we disguised our under cover 2 high defense, wrapped around a 1 point down low man in the offensive zone, during their breakouts we utilizied a 3 "toe poke" zone coverage allowing our far side wing to disrupt thier famous 1 high Hornet breakout by doing so we slowed down there offenisve attack in our zone by implementing a 2-1-2 d-zone coverage which works well against the better team. Once they break that 2-1-2 coverage in our zone, all bets are off and we go Hells Bells to help our goalie.... Hows that..?
My stateregery (as Pres. Bush would Say) was drinking as much as I could before them game, cause my kid is a goalie. Matter of fact, that what I do before most games

did the teams get their fair play point?

dzone......Each team had 3 or 4 penalties each. But each team also did get a checking from behind (10 & 2) - does that amount of penalities count or the actually penalty minutes in order to get the Happy Points?

by SuperStar
I just found out that in order to keep your Happy Points each team can't go over 7 penalties and/or a total of 14 minutes..?
In that case both of us lost a our Happy meal Point..

Blaine seems to be on a tear... Look out come playoff time.
Elk River and Blaine in the same region with Wayzata. Good hockey coming up.

Burnsville 10 wins in a row since losing to Edina. Blaine one loss (Elk River) and one tie(Centenial) in the Last 12 games. Chaska a few impressive wins in the Last 10 games with 3 losses sprinkled in. Edina Inconsistent as of late and Wayzata also having some losses mixed in... Those two Districts are going to be ones to watch in a couple of weeks...

These rankings are brutal! They miss scores, have wrong scores and don't report on some games. I have emailed changes to ours and they never get made. If your going to produce something like that you better do it right. I'll stick to LPH Rankings!

( 85%) of the raters only see the teams there son or daughter plays on. Both have small issues but at least you can see who played who and the score of the games with MNHR. I also rank teams for the Bantam/Peewee level for LPH, both do a fair job. no system is perfect. At the end of the year it will be interesting on how close the polls are.

Scores are only posted if they are submited corrrectly. The submissions come from the teams, My rankings does not go out and get them. I think each score needs to be in a certian format and submitted on certian days. I also think that the scores are not hand keyed but entered into a database via a script from the e-mail. In looking at my sons teams scores, they are all there and correct!
In looking at the rankings, LPH is a poll or opinion driven, MYRankings are strictly a mathematical formula driven. Take a look at the the top 10 from each. They are all the same! Not the same order but the same teams. Its pretty uncanny!
