Excuse me!!! You beat TRF on your huge ice (quite an advantage) by only 3 back when everyone was saying how TRF was such a young team and needed to develop. Then, quess what, only beat them by one (and would have lost if Bryce would not have been on the ice) as TRF has developed. 3 goal differential and 1 goal differential are not greater than the 4 goal differential PR beat them by tonight. And that was without PR's sophomore stud (US National Development Select 15 member) who--guess again--will be back in time for Sections, plus Lehrke sat the last 4 minutes. And Sections are not on your turf this year (lose the huge ice advantage). I'd say PR has a legitamate claim for the number one seed, but if they don't get it, so what. They are going to state anyway after they roll over you.

i feel warroad will get the one seed. But, i think that is fine for pr but for pr's sake, i would be hoping trf gets the 3 seed and then egf gets the 4. Even though it in in trf, i think pr matches up better against thief than they do against egf.
warroad will get the one seed reguardless of how they finish..and thats fine

Finally some real analysis. Matchups are hard to explain but they are a very real thing in athletics. I concur, PR obviously matches up very well with TRF and based on one game, PR matches up very differently with EGF. Yet TRF handled EGF when they played.
I've seen the following or variations of it playout between EGF, TRF, and Crox before and it doesn't make sense.
Crox > EGF
EGF > TRF
TRF > Crox
How does Warroad matchup with PR? I'm going to continue to enjoy reading about it, but until they meet on the ice, I won't know for sure.

8 Hallock
9 RLF
10 11 Walker & Bagley

The coaches of teams #7-11: at least 4 out of 5 will give PR the #2
The coach of #6: still has to play them
The coach of #5: would need to be convinced that PR is better than EGF, tonight went a long ways towards that
The coach of #4: elliott can enlighten us
The coach of #3: likes his own team more, but he can't vote for himself
The coach of #2: likes his own team more, but he can't vote for himself
The coach of #1: I won't even speculate

I would say EGF and TRF are pretty important and they have won both of those games. Those games were pretty much for the #2 seed and they prevailed. The real question is can they win when it counts. It would be nice to see somebody not wearing black and gold in the state tournament from this section...

You might be right SB. But recent events have called into question your powers of prediction.

Come Jan 24th = 1st Loss for the PR crew. Doesn't matter where the game is.
Wanna put your trailer house on it?...

Naw, as much as I believe I am right, I can't risk losing this..
The view is spectacular.
(It's not too far from the old village of the smoky hills west of PR.)
Well schwangy.
Time to pay up.
Although I didn't really agree to the bet, that was such an impressive win last night that I think I should give you the deed.
You'll like the view.
As long as your not in the basement like I was, (somebody pointed that out)
So let me know where to send the keys and the title.
More power the PR!!!!!!!!

2 shut outs in a row going into their game against Detroit Lakes. If they make 20-0 tonight, surely they should make 26-0.
They make not have the toughest schedule, but they spend their last three games on the road, which will be good for going into sections.

Curious...how does that play into the seeding for Section 8A. If they were a common opponent with PR maybe...but gee...I don't see them on PR's schedule twice wait their not even on there once. Maybe the skirt wearers as Suzy likes to call them have bigger nuts than PR.
