Not a game to write home about. Lakeville North was clearly off it's game from the start. All 6 goals were soft.

So Lakeville N had their starting goalie in. She let in 2 (soft?) goals so they put in the other goalie who let in 2 (soft?) goals so they put the starting goalie back in who let in 2 more (soft?) goals. We were +3 on the powerplay which helped tremendously. But really now, 6 soft goals...come on....

So it was the Goalies (pl) fault
How come we never say it was an earned goal! Or it was an excellently placed goal or maybe the goalie never saw it coming because she was screened. (and by the way screening a goalie to let in soft goals is part of the game and very effective)

Not blaming goalies or trying to diminsh the Eagles goals, just seen a few other Lakeville North games where those goals would not have gotten in the net. No doubt that the Eagles played better in the game, just saying Lakeville North made it pretty easy for them. Congrats to the Eagles for capitalizing on the other teams mistakes, that's how you win games!

And that is what makes hockey so great! all of the intangibles and on any given day any team could come away a winner.

actually for the North vs. Tartan game it ended up being 4-2 in favor of North. Their fourth goal was an empty netter.
however: the JV game was good. Tartan beat North 2-1, and i believe it's the first time in Tartan Girls High School history that this has ever happened!
