This has not been the first time that Lakeville South has had so called clock issues at home this season. Rosemount was beating them by a goal. south gets a few powerplays at the end of the game pops one in. the play clock expires before the game clock. referees allow them to play the additional 230 of the game. south scores another and wins the game with less then one minute left. carma will catch up.hockey74 wrote:You forgot to mention that 12 of the 40 shots came on a 4 min. No dog in the fight here but, note that the first quote pertaining to a clock error was not in favor of south, but rather, allowed the opposing team to have a longer PP. And as far as allowing a game to go beyond the "play clock", wouldn't we always want the game clock to take precedence when possible? Many rinks don't even have "play clocks".
