The StarTribune has it as an overtime 1-1 tie. Shots were 40-35 favoring Moundsview - both goalies must have been good.
Looked like a 2nd period SH score for FL and then a PP goal with a couple minutes left for MV?

I looked at the box score again and a slight error was made. It shows the second period shorthanded goal as M-Crudo (Patchin) but these are both Forest Lake players. The game-tieing goal by Moundsview was scored at 14:15 of the third, so yes there was just 2:45 left.

I heard SSM Prep & EP scrimmaged today - sounds like SSM won by at least a few, but must have been some great hockey to see!

BSM 2, Hill Murray 1

Don't know the final shot count, but it was pretty heavily in favor of BSM, who had trouble finishing in addition to running up against some very good H-M goaltending. A very exciting game right up until the final buzzer sounded.

HM is a very solid team, strong D & G, well coached, etc. No offense to BSM but I'm not surprised that HM gave them a close game on the scoreboard - even if the shots may have been more in favor of BSM.

Stats just posted on MaxPreps - final shots were 48-17 in favor of BSM. The H-M goalie, Lizz Wenzel, played a heck of a game.
