Like Govs said, he'd fit perfectly with the Vikes. I don't see the Pack letting him go though.

I think T-Jack has better receivers to throw to this season. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Sidney Rice was injured for the Washington game. He is Jackson's favorite target plus the addition of Berrian will be a help. He won't drop every pass like Troy Williamson.

If Minnesota is going to keep T as their QB, they'd be better off running the wishbone. I'll never be convinced that Jackson is an NFL QB. He may be a great athlete, but he can't read a D and rarely picks out the right receiver under pressure. Booty is already more NFL ready, but everyone knows how the front office in Minn. will play this out.

I dont understand the huge focus on the QB.

The Vikings have AP, and some decent WRs and supposedly a good OLine.

They picked up a DE who can rush the passer and their D should be above average to good.

It would be great to have an all pro QB to go along with that but many teams have won without it and as recently as last season.

TJack will not make us forget Fran Tarkenton but he will be as good as a lot of other guys who played here on playoff teams.

If there is an area of concern , its the head coach, IMO.

I prefer being described as mature or experienced.

But since Fran The Man left us, who did you really like at QB?

Wade Wilson? Rich Gannon? Brad Johnson?

Jim McMahon?

Jeff George and Randall Cunnigham?

Daunte?

No, I know...Sean boofin Salsbury.

The list is long but those guys had good D and some WRs to throw to so they made the playoffs.

TJack will too.

The only problem with that theory is that defenses will completely key on AP since the Queens have no QB under center. They'll know the only way they can move the ball is on the ground, so you'll most likely see a lot of guys up to shut down the run, forcing TJack to throw. If Minn has to rely on any type of passing game, it won't matter if their defense has 11 hall of famers on it, they won't win more than 9 games. Maybe he had a great offseason and will be a great QB. Doubt it, but you never know.

The 2001 Ravens and Trent "Boofin'" Dilfer humbly disagree with that statement.

The sun shines on a dog's rear every once in a while. Also, remember the old saying about the blind squirrel and a nut. I'll change my statement to highly unlikely rather than can't happen. Feel better?

Not to mention Brad Johnson and the Bucs and many others.

They cant win relying on TJack. He has only played one full season.

But they can make the playoffs and win with him at QB.

Thanks Govs,
OK this is not a good idea..this guy bleeds green, and with the # of INT's he throws, and all those years of throwing to the green and puke yellow, we couldn't tell whether he was doing it on purpose or not.

Just like your twins win with the guys you got, we don't need Brett WHO here!

What if GR3343 could convince you that Farve brings the Lombardi Trophy with him to Minnesota?

Still wouldnt do it?

I'm fine with T-Jack, I really am. He won't be enough to put the brakes on this team's potential, but as a Vikes fan, there could be no better "f you" to Packer Nation than Favre in purple. We could set T-Jack aside for a season just to see that.

Nope.....no way! there is a thing called pride...can you actually imagine the crap we'd have to listen to if we won with that guy  and of course it'd be all because of Brett WHO...I believe the only reason he may look at coming here, is that it's apparent from what i've seen that MN has better dental coverage.

CNT,

How many of the 4 Super Bowl losses have you sat through?

Sat through :-k Hmmmm ...1970 to KC I was playing youth football then,
74 Miami and 75 Steelers I was more interested in girls and playing sports, then watching pro football.
1977 to the Raiders well that was those grey years if ya know what I mean but to answer your question I've been around for all of em.
And I would lose another before I'd take Brett WHO in MN anyone else from anywhere I'd have no issue with...just to much for me to take.

CNT Is your wife from Wisconsin?

Just think of the Vikes running game with #4 as quarterback, AP would rush for 2000 or more.

I could even were a purple cheese head hat if Favre got us to the Superbowl. And I hate Wisonsin.

T-Jack will be there next year, no one will steal him from us.
